Great to see Luke almost back to his best - will he be our winning ace in the Final? Furthermore, given the TV exposure, if he has a blinder - will we be able to keep him?

Personally, I hope he scores the winner and then moves on.
In fact, whether we or not we win promotion, I'd prefer it that he moves on to pastures new - at least at Division 2 level.

The guy has been scoring goals for us for 4 years now and hasn't ever gone more than 4 league starts without scoring.
Pretty impressive.

Not sure why you'd "hope" he moves on? Are you thinking of Luke's best interests or the club's.

Luke's.
I always wanted him to stay this year but feel it's time the little genius moved on.

Lukes a little workhorse scores loads and deserves to move forward with his career,STFC survive on bringing them through and letting them go. Since getting over his injury and playing regulary in the side he's getting back to his best and whatever league were in next season i personally think some club of decent stature will come in for him.

Totally agree. Luke needs to move on, i dont want him to. But he's more than proved himself with STFC.

WTF..?? something in the water..? Well who ever buys Luke can have Howie and Darby thrown in for good measure. Hey.. get two welsh stars.. Moss and Tolly and get another one free - Edwards. stay off the tap water and just drink Evian.

I'll personally be gutted when lukey finally leaves but I guess it's inevitable and he needs to do it but he'll always be Mr Shrewsbury to me and i'll follow his career wherever he plays. Does anyone really think he's going to go in the summer?

The club have turned down offers from two division one clubs this season.
Lukey wants out,
his contract runs out at the end of the next season, how much do you think we'll get when it goes to a tribunal? Remember Richard Scott???
The lads more than done his service with the club, he's remaind loyal throughout.
John Stead is banging in goals for Blackburn, that should be Luke, hell if he'd kicked up a big enough fuss he certanly have gotton a big move.
He has shown the club and its supporters loyalty and respect , he's done more than enough for the club and the supporters, thus we should show him the respect that he deserves and allow himself to better himself.

I've always felt he is too small in height to make it at a very high level as a forward. However, Vassel is no giant and look what he has ended up achieving
