I've seen on here a few times now posts from supporters of other teams stating that they will be at The Brittania on 16th May cheering on Aldershot.
What's this all about.?
Nothing would persuade me to attend an occasion like this if i had no emotional attachment to either team.
Whats the incentive or purpose behind it as i'm sure that the genuine fans of Aldershot F.C. really see this day as reward for all they've endured in recent years and a great oppurtunity to regain a long lost league status, and not some sort of multi club love in who are all there just to see a particular club get beat.
I'm sure that we will sell our allocation but if we didn't, i personally would much prefer to have fewer fans there but fans who have endured the same journey along the way and with whom i had something in common rather than some bitter and jealous losers from other parts of the country with their own agenda.
Watch this space. If things go tits up for us on the great day all the usual suspects will come gushing forward with their tales of a great day out in Stoke.
