There seems to be huge interest in the play-off final, how does this compare with Wembley?

Personally I am far more excited by this game and I dare say all the regular fans feel the same. The Autowindscreens final was good but in the great scheme of things meant nothing other than having a good day out and earning a few quid for the club. This game has a massive baring on maybe even the future of the club.
On the other hand, the people who are just going for a day out and who don't really support the Town too much would probably have been more 'up' for the Wembley trip because we were playing at Wembley. I'm not sure The Britannia holds quite as much of an attraction.
I still think we will take a similar number to Stoke though.

3,317. This season we averaged 21% more, 4,007.
During that season Walsall, Wrexham and Swindon must have bought around 2,000 with them. Then Burnley, Crewe and Bristol Rovers must have taken well over 1,000. This season I think only Chester, Hereford and Telford have bought large away supports.

Which adds up to 12,000 not being enough.

I wouldn't be surprised if we have already shifted around 4,000 tickets today. There probably won't be many left for general sale on Monday. Maybe a couple of thousand?
