One thing I must stress is that the local council is extremely aggressive in issuing parking tickets on match days. But I wouldn't park at the ground.

Nope, they're 5 quid and in advance only.
Guess they have to control numbers to ensure space for the coaches and the like.

There are some schools nearby that open up to sell parking spaces at a couple of scheckles a throw. I'd be aware of some of the estates around the Brit as they make Harlescott look like parardise

I bought a car park ticket today for a fiver the south car park for Town fans is right next to the stadium, does'nt matter where you park on the day it will take ages to get out anyway. Well worth the fiver IMO at least when i get to the ground i'm not wasting my time looking to where i can park.

i will risk one of these schools - been working up stoke way for weeks now and the A500 is a nightmare and under a big reconstruction program - its as TS says not going to be fun getting out of there - i herd the car park is one of them 2 hour ones to empty if you get caught in the wrong place

For the people who will park in the Stoke Ground you will have a huge wait to get out A lot of people park in Stoke itself, around Budgens. I have seen Traffic Wardens doing their thing. I am parking in Trentham and walking down the canal

Coming from Stafford and having friends living and supporting Stoke there are car parks availbale on the day but I have heard a fair number of stories of cars being broken into and not much security around at the time. Yes ok it takes some time to get off the club car park but it's allot safer and at least you may have your wheels. Seriously some of the estates around Stoke are pretty rough! I parked on the industrial estate next to the big Sainsbuy's for the ENG U21 v Wales U21 game late last year and every car in the vacinity got a ticket. It was an expensive night £ 30 fine!
