Its amazin. Who would have thought all this just twelve months ago!
Couple of things. I think all us fans now have to be patient. Especially over tickets.
Look. Selling 12,000 tickets with our small admin team is pushing it to the limit and beyond. To be fair there are bound to be one or two hiccups with things. People are trying to make decision, but dont criticise them, because they really are trying to help us.
Ant, brilliant with the block booking. STFC thanks so much for giving us virtually the best seats in the house, especially Judy, Whitters et al!!! This aint an lick, just about time some people realised just how much people do try and help us out.
Wynnie, too. I know hes been running round today trying to sort things out. Awesome
I'm glad I took today off - initially to see the cricket (washout) but know doing my project at college. I hate to think what my in box is going to be like tomorrow!
Its up to us to make sure that we use our privilage here to get tickets, and make sure that we buy them for people we know who follow Town. There will laways be people who will take advantage, and ok with hindsight we could have done members list, and limited numbers etc, but Ant made a call, and I think we should back him, and the club for doing this. If people take advantage and are buying 50 tickets (yeah right!!) shame on them!
I think at the end of the day we'll all get there. Hopefully all be sitting near someone we know, and make some noise.
And to the gloryhunters? Welcome to the wonderful world of blue and amber. It has many ups and downs, but boy at the end of the day. If its success you want please leave your ticket at the front desk and go back to watching tele on Sky! But if you want to part of something, that brings you joys, tears, laughter, friendship, this is the place to be.
Oh and buy they way. (TO THE TUNE OF WEMBLEY, WEMBLEY - WERE ALL VERY DRUNK AND WERE GOING TO WEMBLEY)
" We play in blue and amber and we come from Shrewsbury!
Shrewsbury, Shrewsbury! We play in blue and amber and we come from Shrewsbury! "
Come on salop!!!
