To see the majority of Shrewsbury fans coming over to shake our hands and wish us well helped me get through it a lot. I was one of the lads of the fence bawling my eyes out (and was on telly doing so too apparently) It really was a fantastic gesture, managing to find the time to comiserate us in the emotion you must have been feeling was great. Best of luck in the final, I'm not sure who I want to go up, but best of luck anyway and thanks again.

It was the same at Morecambe Part of the reason I wish I had been there yesterday.... Just goes to prove that the majority of us are good natured football fans who have regard for fellow supporters Good luck next year James

It was such a nervous day and the game could have gone either way.
I know how bad I would have felt if we'd have lost, it was only right to applaud the excellent travelling support from Barnet.

James, i'm glad that you've found the time to come on here. I was going to attempt to leave a message for you on Barnet's site. Commisserations for yesterday, it really was a tight call as i think both of us predicted. What i really wanted to say was thank you for your posts on here before both games. They were always fair , balanced and accurate which unfortunately isn't always the case. In the past , Barnet to me have just been a team from London that we need to beat whenever we play them, i now have a lot more respect and regard for them which is down to the spirit the games have been played in and because of contributions that you and some other fans have made. Best of luck for next year, i'v seen you 4 times this season and there dosn't appear to be a lot wrong.

Put it this way you took defeat a lot better than I think I or many other would have done.
You took it with pride and a grimmace.
It was apleasure talking to you lot (dudes on the fence after the game)
