I'm sure we will take 12,000 + to Stoke, but just how much money are Town set to make from the final? How are the gate receipts shared, how much do we get for being on Sky and do the play off winners get any sort of finanical reward?

I'm not sure to be honest but some were suggesting today that gate receipts from the final get split between all of the clubs in the Conference.

That's a shame. 12,000 people at £15 a head (just a guess on that price btw) would have bought in £180,000. That would have been very useful money but if shared amongt 22 clubs then we will get a pittance.

All the TV revenue from the play-offs and the play-off final gate receipts get split amongst the Conference teams.
We'll get todays gate receipts and a fortune from the selling of shirts etc... in the run up to Stoke.
By the way I'd have thought we'd take considerably more than 12,000 to Stoke

If it's any consolation I'd imagine Salop made a tidy sum from today's game plus will make some cash out of increased merchandise sales etc.
However agreed about the final, if the receipts weren't shared we'd make a very tidy sum.

Yep, a lot of gate money and majority of TV money go back into Conference pot (which is good in my view). But we still stand to gain financially even before merchandise is taken into consideration.

I did buy the new away shirt this afternoon so I guess it could be a profitable couple of weeks for the club shop. I think there will be anything between 12 and 16,000 for the Final. My old man hasn't been in nearly a decade but seems well up for this one. Hopefully a lot of people will feel that way.

I'd have thought we'd take considerably more than 12,000 to Stoke Not sure we'll be able to. The ground only holds 28,000 and if you say a fair few will be kept back for sponsors and hospitality etc then each team will probably only get around 12,000...

Aldershot struggled to take 1,500 to Hereford. I heard it was to do with a lot of people expecting a hammering but I can't see them taking anywhere near 12,000.

Exactly, I expect us to recieve more tickets than Aldershot for a number of reasons.
Primarilly because we are closer to SToke and much more likely to require 12,000+ tickets.
Not arrogance, but just the way I see it, a bit like the Millwall Man U situation.

Aldershot get good home crowds and I am sure will have plenty of fans fancying this one. I think we'll be given identical allocations initially at least...

TO BE FAIR WITH A POPULATION OF ONLY 50000 OF WHICH 15000 ARE MILITARY AND THEIR DEPENDENTS AND THESE HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO INTEREST IN THE SHOTS WE WILL DO WELL TO GET 4000 THERE ESPECIALLY AS IT IS ON THE BOX AND A 180 MILE DRIVE ,REMEMBER 4000 IS MORE THAN 1 IN 9 OF OUR POPULATION

Ive been on the Aldershot site and the largest number any of their fans has mentioned is 7,000. Considering the size of the town , travelling distance and as Mr Aldershot says, the relatively short history of the new team then I think that would be a great following. Hopefully we should get a few more tickets if need be.

Article in the Barnet programme were suggesting that
'after an undisclosed levy to the conference and deduction of allowable expenses the net gate receipts from the semi final play offs are shared equally between the competing teams. For the final, ticket sales are pooled in a central pot, after expenses and a levy to the conference ticket income is split between the participating teams'
Also (refering to the final), normal pricing at Stoke (possible change by the conference) is £17 behind the goals, £19 on the sides. Last years programme was priced at £5.
Have to say Barnet programme was excellent, the only one this season to come anywhere near to ours.
