I do, but I wouldn't if we had beaten them, for some reason that would be ok.

I feel a little sorry for them.
However, before anyone says they should have been automatically promoted, every team knows the situation before the season starts and in many ways football is and always will be slightly unfair.

I have a lot of sympathy for them as they have had a terrific season and I have nothing but respect and admiration for their manager. But my own team comes first so if we can see off Aldershot then I am sure I will come to terms with it...

Tamworth, Leigh, Burton and Woking all very poor home games which Hereford lost, one or two draws even would have given them the title. They cant complain, they knew the score

I do feel a lot of sympathy for both Hereford and Barnet. I know how devastated I felt walking out of Underhill on Thursday, and we still had a chance to put things right. To lose on penalties must be soul destroying, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone............................................... except ManUre and Wolves and Walsall and Wrexham and you know who.

Yes Exkeeper, agreed here. Losing on penalties must not be nice.
But that said my team comes first, and for STFC to succeed then others must fail. UP THE TOWN!

Its a tough way to lose and I hope everyone associated with both Hereford and Barnet who loves their Club as much as I do mine comes to terms with their feelings as soon as possible.

Having seen the Hereford highlights they had THREE gilt edged chances, Williams wide from 3 yards. Guinuin wide with a header from 6 yards and Brown I think, plus they had 2 pens saved Sad to see GT blaming the ref

Hereford fans love to call us "The Slop" or "Sloppy", bit sloppy of them not to be able to put the ball in the net from only 12 yards with only the keeper to beat.

Sorry for G.T. But for all those knuckle dragging inhabitants of The Litten Tree who were such fine ambassador's for their team when we played at Edgar Street............... Drink, drink, where ever you may be, Your never going to division 3 you can huff and puff for as long as you like but we all know that that your team is sh!te.

Long chat with my Hereford supporting brother last night- I would have liked to meet them in the final but as he said, a couple of years ago, their season would have ended after finishing second with no play-off chance. He tutors Jake Sedgemore at Wolverhampton Uni so he is going to get more stick later on in the week

Feel sorry for Hereford?
After comments made by Chris Mackenzie following his loan move from Telford when he said he would happy to beat us with Hereford, or words along those lines.
In answer to the question, no i don't feel sorry for Hereford.
Another point, a good career move for Matt Clarke Hereford, still in business and sgould go up next year if squad stays together, to Telford, out of business and applied to enter the Telford Combination!!
