;D I remember 40 years ago seeing shots against Shrewsbury with Alan Woan in midfield (!), I remember super shots in a Div 4/3 'play off' against Wolves with Les Briley/Will Dixon (?) at the heart of the best ever shots line up and now I see them push the superb Hereford 2004 out at the eleventh hour, they must be nearly as good as that best ever reds line up!!..
Now we have a chance to return to where we should be and the Shrews will be worried...
But remind the midfield to clear the ball over the bloody Stoke stands once they are winning.. Crosby didn't and the Shrews eventually knocked us out of the FA cup 4th round in the glory days in front of about 14000 people at the rec, oldies like me cannot ever forget that terrible moment and winning at Stoke can put that right for us all...
Also further we need to remember that the Shrews took the totally magnificent John Dungworth away from us as well after that match if I remember it right just to add insult to injury!
Terry Brown get your own back on that for all of us true old time shots supporters! Now you can, the time is right..
Come on you reds...

I remember that cup match at Aldershot. Dave Tong's equaliser, and Carlton Leonards great goal in extra time back at the Meadow. We didn't get Dungworth until into the next season, and he was never the same player here.
I even saw Aldershot at Wolves in the play-offs, but the only player I remember was Bobby Barnes (did he score ?)

I used to watch him for Newtown about 15 odd years ago.
