Does any of you like / watch the NFL (american football) or the NHL (ice hockey) Did you follow the NFL draft last weekend or are you following the NHL playoffs?? If so tell me about it. I personally support the Oakland Raiders in the NFL and the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL.

Been to a few Telford Tigers games (now the Timberwolves I think) its good entertainment for the kids but I'd rather watch Channel Five all day than go to another game of Ice Hockey and dont even get me started on that game the Americans have the cheek to call 'football'..........

I watch basketball, support the Boston Celtics, got to see them in the regional playoffs against the New Jersey Nets in 2002, and needless to say they got stuffed Follow the New York Mets in baseball as well, cant stand hockey or 'football'...

I'll just tell ya we've got a good squad for next season. Gannon (QB), Rice and Brown (WR) are still there but we've got a few good young players coming up and the exciting draft pick from a week ago, Robert Gallery, which will make an immediate impact. So start following them again from September onwards!

started following american football when it came over here in its infancy on channel 4 years ago.for some reason i just got hooked on the Cincinatti bengals in the Boomer esiason/icky woods/chris collingworth /jim breech era i don't know what it was ,they just seemed to have something about them .i was pig sick when they lost in the last minute of the superbowl to the 49er's-especially as the game finished about 2.30 am and i had to be up to do my post round at 4.am what a bummer!i still love them now -even though they're crap!does that remind you of anyone else we know and love to death?

MLB: Baltimore Orioles (vague ambition: to go to Baltimore and watch the Orioles). NFL: Miami Dolphins (the nearly men of the NFL) NBA Phoenix Suns (got to the final a few years back, rubbish now though) NHL: Switch off the TV immediately.
I recently bought MVP Baseball 2004 for the PC. It isn't available in the UK, I had to buy it from a Canadian importer - anyway its absolutely the best game I've ever played.
Good luck today to Barnet! Will be there, watching it on Sky anyway!
