Ar, suppose there is the cricket. Not a big fan of watching local games. Although i could go and watch a mate play for Shelton. Pub still sounds better though

I'm in Cardiff for the weekend with my wife, who is here for the NAHT conference. I'm in St David's Hall, using a laptop which I presume is for education use, but supporting Salop is an education, so there it is! Cardiff are playing Wimbledon this afternoon, but I think I'll give that a miss! So it's conference and shopping until Monday, then hope we can make it back in time for kick off. I've got my centre stand ticket, so should be OK - if Welsh Shrew saves me a seat!!

I would imagine the bar will be open all afternoon at London Road and at Perkins too, with rain too, an early finish looks on the cards = more drinking!!

Off to Shakey's shop then down to Welshpool to hopefully see them ruin TNS's championship dreams.

I'm off to Maesdyre to see Welshpool/TNS too. Town, Telford fans. Probably outnumber both sets of fans!

Well.....first we went to the cricket which was called off as it's been pea ing down here all afternoon. Then....it's been the heart attack of watching the scores flying left right and centre for division 1. You don't know how lucky you are to be worried only about one playoff team this week! Next week Reading have to win, Ipswich lose, and us do better than Wigan to sneak into the playoffs. An interesting fact we believe may be true......the last three occassions Town have been promoted.....so have Reading. I expect you all to be shouting very loudly next week for the Royals......should Town still be in contention
