Believe me, if I could have guaranteed getting four tickets to stand at last nights game I would have done. However I managed to make sure by buying a Barnet £30 ‘hospitality’ package. I won’t say too much as I am already in trouble with Barnet for mentioning it on our board. Suffice to say that I have experienced the Rowley player’s lounge and the sponsors lounge on many occasion at the meadow and have found the food, bar facilities, organisation and company excellent for home and visiting supporters alike.
£30 for what was served up for us last night at Barnet was nothing short of disgraceful. The meal consisted of one piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken accompanied by a kids portion of chips. It took us 20minutes to get into the game as neither the ticket office or gate men new where we were to go to get in.
Anyone tempted to criticise our clubs organisation, facilities and pricing policy think again Mike Thomas and co do a fantastic job.
Mr Mullen if you do read this, as you seem to have taken to reading our board, you really can’t afford to be so precious about your so-called hospitality. If you want to experience hospitality come to Shrewsbury on Monday ask for Mike Thomas and he’ll show you how it’s done.

Leave it out mate, you try doing Kevin's job and we'll see what you come up with. He had four days notice for this as well as being the Marketing Manager and Programme Editor for the club. As we are sitting here now looking forward to the weekend, he's probably still down at Underhill with a lot more work to do.

And the big fella is our webmaster, community officer, cleaner, bottle washer etc etc.
I was in the Gold Suite / Boardroom. Top class mate, but then that was and always is the 'proper' hospitality area. Free bar up there as well. No excuses for KFC though as I'm a burger king man myself.
£30 for a meal? Don't make me laugh! £17 for a ticket and £2 for a progamme was included wasn't it? ( I hope I'm right here or I'll look a right donut) And the £11 alone is money well spent for someone like yourself to book tickets over the phone and guarantee entry.
Anyway, I get the feeling you only got the hump at about the 93rd minute ;-)
Here's to another cracking game on Monday. Lighten up mate, put a smile on your face, as we are, afterall, a 'smaller' club than you and you should expect to rough it at our shed ;-)
Be lucky.

As a Barnet supporter it is an embarrassment when it comes to hospitality, ticket allocation, catering, stewarding and suchlike, I know its a bit of a dump compared to other grounds, but the thing is they should and could do better, people complain but nothing is done, there`s no excuse, I put up with it , they are the team I support and I`m used to it.

If i was you watfordshrew i would whack in a massive complaint ...lets see "Hospitality Package", lets break it down from the other posts from a Barnet fan on this thread Cost £30.......... minus£17 ticket £2 programme = £19 . Leaves a total of £11 "Hospitality package" should include a free programme for starters food was poor = rip off to me. And JamesBFC never mind the "leave it out mate" if you had a home game with four days to prepare and were playing Arsenal in the FA Cup i bet it would be a better deal than what WatfordShrew recieved with better Hospitality. But as i suppose its the "Conference" its deemed acceptable
