Well that was a great performance, and as was reflected by fans chatting as they left the game and on the radio one of 5 or 6 players could have got MOTM
Purdie was solid, and put in a great shift going forward and back Hector was on hand to save us a couple of times, win most of his headers and look accomplished on the ball Jones was class, a real leader at the back and someone we look like we can rely on week in week out Wright was alike a new man, tracking back, going in for 50/50's and headers, getting past his man several times and passing cracking through balls... Richards worked his balls off with so much running off the ball Parry showed his class with a great finish and hard work up and down the pitch Grandison was his usual entertaining self, and was a beast in the last 10 minutes in helping us see the game out
All in all I just went for Jones as I though he was really good keeping his shape, marshalling the back line and winning his battles. Does not look we will miss Sharpey that much, and to be honest looking at it he might not have had the legs for this level anyway.
Great stuff

Wright for me, narrowly beating Parry. Full backs I thought were excellent too, coped very well with what felt were the main attacking threats from Preston. Impressed with central midfield once again too.

Purdie, solid all game. Jacobson is going to have a hard time getting back into the squad if he can keep this form up.

In Sadler, Jacobson and Purdie have we really have had three back to back quality left backs...

As said 5 or 6 could have really won MOTM.
Grandison, Jones, Hector, Purdie, Parry, Wright put in excellent performances but will go for Grandion as he really was crucial in seeing the game out and their left winger rarely got the better of him and could tell he was getting very frustrated. Very solid and loved the step overs towards the end when the ball was in their half down the wing.

Purdie for me. Up against a tricky opponent but he was rarely beaten

Purdie was rock solid and Wright's workrate was immense - really played well both offensively and defensively.

That Monokana was awful in my view... nothing away from Purdie who shut him down but he never offered much IMO

Purdie did well but I woudn't go over board about his performance. For me big Germaine gets the nod.
