I wont be leaving Bristol till about 3:30, as I got to work, and Im thinking I'll be hitting Dat London about rush-hour.
Any ideas? I'll be coming in via the M4

There is major road works at the M4/M25 junction. Also the stretch of the M25 between the M4 and the M1 is a nightmare usually.
I would look at leaving the M4 at Junction 8/9 the A404(M) and taking this up to Junction 4 on the M40. Follow the M40 down to the M25. My brother lives near Reading, he swears by this route at the moment.
If the traffic is slow on the M25 leave at junction 19 and follow the Bushey/Borehamwood/ Barnet signs.
I have e-mailed you my home number if you want me to talk it through more with you.

Martin, that route connectinf the M4 and M40, I think Ive used that route a few times before, does it bring you out near wycombe? I think it goes past Bisham Abbey.
