Just like to say good luck with your match against Barnet, and possibly the final. I think shropshire needs league football, as well as a good standard of non league football in our case. Plus we beat u twice so we can always say that I suppose.

Well I say this with doubts. In the sense that I always used to wish Salop well, as to me Salop and Telford were never rivals. Our local rival were always Kiddy. Through working in Shrewsbury for a year I had to put up with regular patronising remarks concerning telford. However, I think it wise to spread some good will. Some Town fans i.e. not the many idiots, have been very supportive of Telford over the last month. Perhaps we should get back to having some good will between clubs. Wer'e not Rangers and Celtic after all. Wer'e both relatively small clubs in a county that no one knows anything about. I was proud of Salop when they beat Everton even though I'm a big Telford UTD supporter.

Chris, Please feel free to post on here at any time. If we have to have Telford fans i would much prefer them to be reasoned , balanced and mature not full of resentment and venom. Posters such as yourself add debate and opinion in such a away that encourages good banter and rivalry and tends not to lead to p**sing people off like certain TUFC fans on here.

I must say that you wouldn't have liked me very much during the derby games, and I really am not trying to suck up. However the point I'm trying to make is that most people in this country don't know or care where Telford and shrewsbury, or for that matter Shropshire is. We should stick together. Afterall we support our local teams, and not the likes of Liverpool or Man UTD so we are very similar types of football fans. If something puts Shropshire on the map then I am proud, especially as I am away from home at uni. Its nice when country bumkins like ourselves stick one up the big boys occasionally.

Sorry, there are certain qualifications required to be entitled to be a B&A Prat. For one thing, you have to be called JP or Harmerhill ;D

Your scoreboard picture is a bit cockey really isn't it? I know wer'e in trouble only too well. However I don't think you could descrice Salop as minted! Its just that your not currently going bust thats all. Shrewsbury are alright financially because of last seasons cup run.

It was a response to LeeTUFC using the 2-1 scoreboard as his avatar. Me creative juices aren't up to making a new one right now, but rest assured I will tire of the joke eventually

I see. What was all this business about buring a telford scarf. it sounds a bit like Iraqi or Palistinian behaviour to me! Not really in keeping with the culture of shropshire.

Wasn't there, but there's a thread on it her somewhere. One of those beer-related things that people normally regret the next day. Rude to destroy the property. They could have just wiped their arses on it and put it back

Wether we like it or not Chris i think we all accept that some Shrewsbury fans will dislike Telford and vice versa.i dont really think there should be to much hatred after all to get this county going forward in football terms we need all its clubs to play their very best with decent sportsmanship.Writing for myself i see fans burning opponents club colours as childish and ruinning the great reputation so many fans have worked hard for.
