And, in keeping with w@nkers referees who have the same surname as our full-backs, the ref's name is D. Drysdale...

Why is Quinn playing? Why not play Banim?

Jimmy's Swansong for the season, possibly for his playing career - a game with no real pressure, keeps Cramb out of trouble, and saves some of our legs for the playoffs.

Quinny had a good game and took his goal well, also hit a rasper just over the bar. Banim came on for Aiston and provided some good link up play and promising moves.

.....but little else.
Whatever people say about JQ, at this level he provides pressence for us upfront, and even with Darby playing that is somethin we still lack a bit of IMO.
Brilliant today, won most things in the air, put himself about, linked up well with the rest of the side, brilliant knock ons and took his goal well.

Ok so JQ isnt going to run like Luke Rodgers but he wins virtually everything in the air, holds the ball up well and has good vision. His goals to minutes played ratio must be one of the highest in our forward line although no doubt someone will come on and prove me wrong!!

Quinn had an excellent game yesterday, setting up Lowe's goal, playing a part in the move leading to the penalty and scoring the third. If it was a purely football based decision then I'd be all for JQ to play an active role as a player - but it's not. JQ's primary role is to manage the club - he has already admitted that when he plays it has a negative effect on his managerial ability. That said - good goal Jimmy owd lad

Have to say I thought Quinn was probably my MOM yesterday with Ryan close behind. Very disappointing to see Jodie really not make a difference. I want him to suceed very badly as feel he could be one of the most exciting players we have seen down at the meadow for some time
