The York is a decent pub and there does not seem to be anything else close to the ground, but there is NO real ale. Very disappointed on prev visit.

Dont know a Kieron sorry Jamo, well can i just say what a nice un-rebellious lad Nick is, very tall, got a stiff neck conversing with him - he seems pretty decent

The York was indeed a top pub (10 mins walk from the ground) although the moaning about the lack of real ales was still audible well into the second half from certain sections of the Town fans....... Another friend drank in The Shrimp and said that was fine. The York was proper 60s pub (high ceilings, crap wallpaper/toilets etc.), and with the jukebox booming out the Jam, Madness and the Clash, twas my fave I've seen this year.

And don't forget all the shirts hanging from the ceiling.

The York was indeed a 60 s pub. That was the last time it was decorated. Did have some excellent footy stuff on the walls though.
