The French National Front leader Le Pen is coming to Britain at the weekend and is due to address a private dinner somewhere in Shropshire on Sunday - anybody heard about this or know where it is?
I think it's disgusting that our county will be entertaining a fascist and I hope there's some kind of protest against it.

I'm glad the BNP have got him over here.
Every time they associate themselves with someone like Le Pen (who Jorge Haider considered too racist to associate himself with), it makes it easier for the decent majority to counter their arguments.
"It is wrong to make France a country of immigration and its people a half-breed."
- Jean-Marie le Pen

i personally don't mind him coming to Shropshire , the average salopian is far to clued up to be taken in by anything this idiot has to say, if anything it will strengthen peoples resolve to oppose the BNP at any forthcoming elections. That most famous of British fascists ,Oswald Moseley visited the county just before the last war and addressed open meetings in Wellington and Shrewsbury. Look where it got him.

A Wrekin council bye election in Madeley yesterday saw the BNP finish 4th with 188 votes, Labour held the seat with 421 votes.
Oswald Moseley had some big mates in Shropshire and one of his right hand men has a son who lives in a big house on the outskirts of Shrewsbury and his son runs a shopping complex in the Town.

I'd still rather not see him coming to our county - we don't want to get a reputation as an area where these sort of people can gather in peace.
Find out where it is and organise a demonstration. Let these people know that their views and the trouble they cause are not wanted.
Le Pen is a convicted racist by the way and in my view shouldn't even be allowed into the country.
