...what would you call it? Just out of interest...Shrewsbury Arms, Shropshire Arms or sommat like that? Something a little more sinister perhaps, the 'Glass in face' for example would go down well with the local hooligans maybe?
Indeed...what do we think the new STFC Supporters Club should be called at the New Meadow?

Has to be 'Kasule's Bar' as mentioned on here before I think.
But more likely to be sponsored?

I come from a line of publicans and sinners- so should be able to answer this! (My grandmother (after she was widowed) kept the Bull's Head in Oakengates- that's demolished, now. My grandfather and grandmother kept The Crown at Market Drayton. It's still there- a very historic building.) I'd call it "The King Arthur"- and have a sign with Arthur Rowley on it.

I let it go on the other thread but not again - what you call cr@p i call settleing in and being injured but when cramb went through a poor spell cos he was injured it was cos he was crap? and when darby shouts at the ref, its passion? on the showing of the last 2/3 games Darby is hitting his heights of November/December anyway but if he scores and takes us up, i will join DDAS

Darby will be be here next year no matte what and for that we will be thankfull. I hope ends up top scorer this year just to shut you up!!

But what does being top scorer prove Pricey?
Cramb has the best per game scoring record of all the strikers, but you still knock him...... ;D

I agree gaz but faginy got this hang up about top goal scorer - i cant understand giving a player who could get us out of this division (DD) right now where as crambs played his last important game for us this season!! The time to compare the relitive merits of the 2 players will be in 3 weeks time

I DO own a pub...the Prince of Wales Leeswood, between Mold and Wrexham. All Shrewsbury Town fans can have drinks at half price on production of Priority cards!

Welsh shrew you are on very dodgy ground sugeesting that you check stats...! because If you check player stats I think you will find DD has better goals per game average than Colin chuck me toys out me pram cramb.

Darby has not won a header since february though
Cramb made Darby's goal the other night with a flick on, the first seen at the Meadow since Jemson...

as i am in the position of actually owning a pub (bar restaurant), i have retained its original name "Pepe's" for now as it has always had a good name in the port, but the first thing i did was change the trading name to "Pepe's Azul y Ambar". the long term plan is to get people used to calling it the Blue and Amber or Azul y Ambar, then change the signage. Sad or what?

Darby 28 / 11 = 0.393 goals per app. Cramb 36 / 14 = 0.389 goals per app. I call it a draw on that stat. Anyone worked out the games WON by their scoring yet? Darby has had one or two consolations, so could be interesting....
