Blimey From my original post its gone, Sloppy Star, Daily Mail and now 5 Live Long live Blue and Amber, it's social networking at its best Daft as it sounds the Daily Mail actually scan local newspapers and Internet sites for the term "political correctness" and often reprint stories they find. The old political correctness gone mad story is a key filler in the pages of the Mail. I think Thomas the Tank engine not celebrating Christmas is their latest one. Think the website issue is a bit of a red herring really. Clearly learning how to win and lose is an important part of a youngsters development, but you have to question the quality of any coaching or league system that consistently sees one set of kids suffer heavy defeats. In my view better coaching, fewer games and better matching of abilities is the best way to get kids interested in football and to develop skills to be better players later in life

its amazing how this story has developed i'm very interested to know if davewill the thread creator posted this as a topical thread or something he started himself if its the latter it just goes to show how something on b&a soon spreads like wildfire great thread all the same dave i bet the telford fa are wishing they had done something far simpler like 'shrewsbury town beat barnet' i think the whole hype surrounds the fact they are blatantly telling lies 1-0 to blue and amber

Pilch
To tell the story
My first post on this subject was 3.26pm on Oct 5th last Wednesday. I had not posted this thread anywhere else or even discussed it with anyone else By Thursday 6th Oct, and with the feedback off B&A posters, i thought i would send an email to the Shrop Star with the same text as my post I got a phone call from the Star and discussed it with a sports reporter The S Star gave it front page headlines in the Telford edition on Saturday night (8th Oct) By Monday 10th Oct it was in the Daily Mail online edition, was featured on Central TV News, by Tuesday it was in the Sun newspaper, was being discussed on Hawksby and jacobs on talksport radio, was on BBC Midlands news, Various other TV and Radio shows, and even today was a phone in discussion on radio 5 Live I had a call back from the Shrop Star reporter on Wednesday to tell me that the TJFL had been told to now publish the full result, and, that ABC in Australia had picked up the story and had run with it.
So, in one week it had gone from B&A to "viral" status
Anyone else claim to have done that with a story!

Telford Junior League had an EGM on Sinday and all clubs voted. It was 11-v-11 votes and the chairman voted to keep the 1-1 and 1-0 results...sadly in my opinion..now they can claim they have consulted the clubs!

I think I will start a thread so they can be posted
