Come off the bench and scores with 3 mins for Norwich to equalise.

Holty has now scored at Stamford Bridge and Anfield - not bad for a player who was plying his trade at Underhill and Moss Rose a couple of years ago.

Yes he has!
Suarez needs to shut it - very much like Ronaldo and Drogba in their early years in the prem.
Holt at 16/1.

How many players from the Simpson era are now playing at a higher level? The ones that were mostly Peters signings that he shipped out. The fact that Simpson could not achieve success with such an abundance of talent is increasingly obvious.

Really enjoyed that goal on MotD this morning, superb header. Nearly had another too. Just not too much to dislike about Norwich is there (unless you support Ipswich of course), like to see them do well at places like Liverpool...

He was a proven goalscorer at League Two level and had played at a higher level. A club of our size can't afford to spend 170K on a punt. It was as safe a bet as you can make.

He was an excellent signing.
Simpson made plenty of good signings. Unfortunately he hadn't a clue how to put a team together using them.

Simpson by his own admission failed to motivate Holt to play as part of a team. 11 individuals does not a team make unless their talents are all pulling in the same direction.

Credit to Simpson being able to sign a player with a joint record club purchase, which also deserves credit to Roland. Shame Simpson could do **** all with such a talented team - blame where blame is due please.

But he sold him for a massive profit.
Credit where it's due, that means a lot to a club like ours.
