On travel bus, amazing effort by our fans and when Collins goal went in instantally one of my top 3 Town moments. Arsenal fans, fair play to the ones that clapped us off. Night ill never forget!

I was sat pretty much on the halfway line with some gooners. The noise the town fans made eclipsed arsenal all night. When we scored I nearly exploded from the joy I was repressing.
Great stuff.
Second half a bit outclassed, but that to be expected especially with our makeshift defence. The singing and applause i wotnessed to my left at the end did stfc proud, im sure it meant a lot to the players. All in all a great night.
And what's with those posh comfy seats? Very plush.

Home and still buzzing. Bit worried after first 5 mins. Could well have got three goals in first half.
Fantastic support. Put into context they paid for one player six times our annual turnover

exact words i text to a few friends when i left the ground 'proud as f@ck'. even more pleasing was listening to Arsenal fans gloating about the result, as if it were a 'great win', couldnt help put them in their place by reminding them 1 of their players wages would last us a season..
Arsenal fans around him gave him a reality check..
we gave it a go, plus for that, our fans and being in dreamland for 20 mins or so..

Agree. Excellent first half. Could and should have had 2, perhaps 3. Second half we sat back and let them control midfield. Only one possible outcome then. Thought the ref gave us absolutely nothing tonight though.

Cannot ever remember feeling as proud of a Shrewsbury town team, particularly after a defeat!
1st goal and celebrations will live long in the memory but boy we had chances for a second and really put them under the cosh.

What a night! Could have been 3-1 by halftime. The ref was certainly no Spurs fan as he tended to favour Arsenal with a couple of decisions. Support was brilliant. Everyone played really well and it will be difficult to choose a man of the match. The ground is pretty impressive - but what a flat atmosphere from the Arsenal crowd! Just as well the Town faithful turned up or I would have thought I was attending a funeral. Some funny chanting - "You're just a bus stop in Tottenham" and the reference to Wrexham (can't remember the exact words now). Roll on the FA cup - I fancy a day out at Old Trafford...

Echo all that's been said, so so proud of the lads who gave a top 4 prem team a real scare tonight, for large parts of the first half we bossed it and dictated the play, not something many teams can cliam they have done at the Emirates! Even the usually 'reserved' filmcrewshrew Senior went mental when Collins scored, watching him telling everyone around him immediately after 'we need to settle down now, settle down, not do anything silly' real serious with this funny hand motion was priceless On downer on night was traffic back though, serious accident on M1

I think 4 matches in 10 days along with our small squad has tired us out a bit, I think if we were as fresh as the Arsenal team we could have done better second half.

A terrific experience. The team did us proud, our fans were great and the stadium impressive - if wasted on the home fans, last night at least.
I also enjoyed the pre-match. The interview with Wenger, the karaoke etc.
Hope everyone got back safe, looked a nasty prang on the M1.

Thought Shrewsbury played great football last night, good spell in the 1st half of pass and move that even Arsenal would be proud of, good move for the goal and could have gone in at the break with a bit more, bit as has been said, a night to be really proud, i was very proud and confess not to be a loyal fan as am a ST holder at Liverpool, but me lad supports his birthplace club Shrewsbury which fills me with more pride than anything and was so proud last night to see hime and his brother with their shrews tops on cheering Collins goal. I have had some great nights with Liverpool but last night will live in memory as that was special for my lads. Will be at Torquay game and a few more aways this season

Brilliant first half. First 5-10 they were all over us we settled down and we battered them could of easily been 4-0. I do feel Smith could of saved the equaliser. The equaliser was the turnin poin as Town heads went down.

'Are you Wrexham in disguise?' was the song Hey - I started that Rexham chant! Was well chuffed that it on and blocks 20-23 seemed to sing it. Well funny. My other one of ``Your just a s**t team in London`` didn`t get going though. What a great night to be a Salopian.

Got back at 3am!
But all i can say of last night is how immensely proud i was in everything associated with stfc!!!! We gave a very strong Arsenal side a serious worry last night especially in the first half when for 30mins we really outplayed them and could easily have gone in at half time 2/3-1 up. We were always going to tire after the break but never gave up. Support was first class from before the game till the players went doen the tunnell at full time.
If we can keep this level of performance on anf off (support like last night) the pitch going untill the end of may this current Shrewsbury side will certainly be going on to bigger and better things.
From a very proud Salopian.

Speaking t o people at half-time I was saying that I wanted to go home there and then as the first half had been so good, in dreamworld really. Whilst the match was not important in the greater scheme of things I think the pride the players can take from the way our patched up team aquitted themselves will stand them in good stead for the rest of the season. Big shout for the fans as well, the majority of the 5,100 were excellent. Great night tempered only by the result.

A fantastic stadium in the Emirates. Shrewsbury played so well I was very proud and honoured to be a Shrewsbury Town fan. The players werent scared by the occasion and went about their tasks very well and did themselves and the managed proud. The atmosphere in the home end was rubbish and the atmosphere in our end was good but due to the fact there were alot of one off supporters there for the Arsenal experience it was quieter then the normal away day noise.
Well done everyone who attended it was great to see such a large support and a full away end on a Tuesday night miles away fro home.
I am a very proud Shrewsbury Town fan and loved the entire night. Bring on 3 points this Saturday. Get there andsupport the lads everyone.

Jemmo - I think the away end would have been noisier if we'd seen more of the ball in the 2nd half.

13.15 Monday... just got back!
Everyone can hold their heads high with that performance. We really had them under the cosh for 20-25 minutes in the first half, and a great powerful header from Collins for our goal. I think we ran out of steam in the second half, and couldn't deal with their energy levels (but what do you expect... they were players for a top Premiership team...) but to lose 3-1 to a team of that stature is no disgrace at all.
Great atmosphere. Was a bit confused by the fairweather boneheads at the front of block 24 with the embarrasingly dog-eared, home-made "Shrewsbury EBF" flag.... never seen them before on a cold Tuesday night in Lincoln!!

Fabulous night, went home smiling despite the score. Was expecting a lot of flack in school today but gooner colleagues and pupils united in their praise of both team and supporters ( although I did have to explain the Wrexham chant to them). Thanks to everyone; players, all those who made that long journey on a worknight and to our fantastic , iconic manger.
