Bradshaw's goal for Under 21s Wales V Montenegro Sept 6th 2011. Keep watching after the goal (1min 17sec) for a shot against the bar too!!

Great stuff from young Tom. Should put another few thousand on the price when the big boys come sniffing.

Looks like pretty much all of their attacking play was from Bradders! Great goal!

If he gets a break at the Emirates TBs career could move pretty quickly....

He's unleashed his cracking left foot, and it's cannoned into the back of the net. And the ball too.

That one the hit the bar would have been an amazing strike.
Can't wait for him to get back with his confidence sky high.

Fantastic goal. Bradshaw should play against Arsenal in a front 3. We could give those Arsenal defenders major problems with Morgan, Gornell and Bradshaw running at them.

Blimey, looked a bit good didn't he!? Marauding, harrying and unleashing a couple of belters.

If we play 4-3-3(a system non of our players are familiar with) at the emirates we will get ripped apart against there midfield! Best thing we could do is keep Tom on the bench, prevent the risk of him having a blinder and attracting big clubs who will take him away from us! Great finish for the under 21s, and i think the lad will become a real good player, just hope he doesnt get over-hyped to soon!

What a goal, felt very proud watching that. The way he the ball out of the sky with his second touch was Dimitar Berbatov esque. Can't wait to see him back for the game at the weekend. Unfortunately I think he might have to wait his turn though. Well done Tom

As excited as I am about Bradshaw and the calr talent he has, im pretty much 99% reserved to loseing him for nothing at the end of the season
We dodged a bullet last season with J Taylor, he decided to give us another crack, but nothing to say we we will get that lucky with Bradders.
Honestly we have a promising, Welsh U21 whos done well at every challenge presented to him in his carrer thus far, and we cant break or stupid policy of not offering contracts mid season for him....
something needs to be sorted ASAP really... for everyone person that has said that will see his value shoot up, each day his contract ticks down it actually goes lower.... town could well cash in for something in Jan if its clear hes not going to have about (even more so if hes failed to get a first team run by then)
its a tough call for the club over the next 8 months with Bradders!

He'll go but we will get a tribunal fee for him and if Jimmy Ryan is worth £195k then Bradders having scored for Wales U21 and probably becoming a regular will be worth at least £250k in a tribunal i reckon.

As opposed to Joe Hart who we got £1.5m for by negotiating things ourselves - no brainer really, except to out board that is.

Exactly... and there are plenty of examples of teams getting shafted by the tribuinal.... Also we brought bradders from Abber did we not... not sure how that factors in? I said we should be offering him a new contract in the per season, the longer town leave it the more it will cost... I really dont get it... plenty of our decent players out of contract when we could tie them up now for next season on the assumption that what ever league were in we will need them. Teams need consistancey in squads to achive things IMO

Teams need consistancey in squads to achive things IMO Both the club & players will be reluctant to sign new contracts at this stage in the season for a number of reasons: a) From the clubs perspective, they won't want to offer improved contracts until they know which league they will be playing in next season - we don't want to have a squad of players on L1 wages playing L2 football if things don't go as planned. I think that the days of Simpson offering 'Pop Star' contracts are long gone, GT has experience in the role of a football club Chairman, so knows how the business side of the club works. b) From a players point of view, they won't want to sign a new contract at the moment because promotion would mean a better offer being tabled at the end of the season or a possible move to a bigger club. Saying that, I'd like to think that the squad will all have a promotion bonus written into their contracts. What I'd like to see is the club using a percentage of the revenue from the up-coming Arsenal game to be shared amongst the sqaud as a thank you for their earlier performances in the League Cup - if the players are being rewarded financially for good performances on the pitch, then it will aid squad happiness & be of benefit for the club!

Yep
Simple two versions of the contract
Standard, but decent rise for bradders for league 2 (based on his progress in last 2 years, and status as Wales Under 21)
or
Even more attrative contract for if we have been promoted (still not going to me massive for a young lad though)
Why is that so hard?

If it did go to a tribunal we would get money, after all Hereford got 100k for Marc Pugh despite him only being there a year, and other clubs had paid for his youth training.
The fact he has played and scored for Wales under 21 probbaly wouldn't make any difference to his valuation, after all you could argue that we shouldnt benefit from him playing for a minnow country(no disrespect). Why should that count over a similar player who is English but a million miles from England u--21.. More credence would be given to the number of starts he had made for us and what sort of cotract we were offering him.
