Yet that seems completely out of character for the bloke Now lets sort Welshshrew out for those anti-english posts of his We could just turn the BnA background Red and White for the Friday, then that might scare 'em off posting! ;D Nice explanation of St George's Dragon in the Star letters tonight, apparently it was a crocodile. And apparently it wasn't sporting a Leek at the time either. Oh well.

Pete, I had the pleasure of wearing my England top on a guided tour of Powis Castle last friday as the guide gave us that twaddle about how valiently the Welsh had fought to keep us out of the place. Even the guide saw the funny side Trying to be smart, he later called me a seiss, unaware that I do have a smattering of Welsh that gets me by so I explained to the rest of the tour party much to his embarrasment what he had called me .

I would imagine he'd be quite a good darts player.

As for St George, I believe he was Turkish....... : Gareth, what an educated young man you are.The benefits of an English University are shining through. St George was indeed Turkish, he never set foot in England. No wonder we don't celebrate the day too much !

Yep god bless the good people of University College Wales Aberystwyth.
I'm deadset against any form of xenopobia. Especially when it uses that dirty little Turk as its centrepiece...... ;D

In which case, god bless the Barnett formula which ensures that Wales benefits in a positive way from the hard earned cash of all those good people living in mansions down in South East England.....not that Plaid Cymru don't always call for more, the darned fire-bombing parish councillors

how old's this barnett formula then? Is this the reason the nationalists stopped torching all those second homes ?
