If we both make it to the final (big if) then we should be able to sell out the Britannia. I can't see the Conference changing their minds over the matter but Villa Park would be more suitable.

thought capacity is 25k???
in which case i wud prefer to hav 25k people making a full house rather than 25k people at a stadium that holds double that!!!
wud we really get 25k anyway?

Both Hereford and Town could sell around 15,000 to 20,000 tickets. We took 16,000 all the way to Wembley for a competition that is nowhere near as important as a play off final would be. Crowds are higher now than they were in the 95/96 season by about 25% too.

It would be nice to fill a 25,000 stadium.
Can't see too many getting locked out though, if the tickets are dished out right it would only be the glory hunters anyway.
The other thing is Hereford and (especially) us have got to earn the right to be there first before we worry about that.

Going to "Wembley" for the first time was massive though, plenty of random people came to that one just for the experience
I don't think stoke ahs quite the same appeal, but onyl an hour away will tempt a lot of people and make it more acessible for the fairweather types

PMSL this has got to be one of the funniest threads ever on here you haven't even reached the final yet and you are worrying Stoke won't be big enough ? 25k will be enough for all the regular supporters to get in from both you and Hereford .In the unlikely event it was sold out then i'm sure it would be some of the glory hunters who don';t get in and why should they anyway if they can't be bothered to go to any other game. With all our troubles this thread has made me laugh

IF, and it's a massive massive IF both HUFC and STFC get to the final then I'm certain it would be a sell out.

What if it isn't a Hereford, Shrews final? I really do hope Hereford come up with Chester as lets face it there were only two teams ever in the title race. It would be a complete injustice if Hereford didn't go up, due to the fact that they are miles ahead of you lot

I agree Chester, but do you really think we will care if beat them in the final? Obviously you won't care if you beat them in the final but what is to say either team will be in the final? As it stands I feel Hereford will be in the final as they are playing the weakest team in 5th place, although anything can happen in these playoff games. I really do think that Aldershot will be playing Shrewsbury, but Aldershot played some good stuff at the Deva and I can see them actually getting winning over two legs. Aldershot, Hereford final, I would love to see Hereford win. But I do believe though that next year Shrewbury will go up as Champions as they will know what to fully expect from Conference football.

Stoke holds 28,383 apparently. If (that's IF) it's Shrews v Hereford that should still be plenty, even for all the glory hunters. Certainly all the real fans should get in and it would be a fantastic atmosphere.

I think The Brittania will be just fine. I've been there once for an Endland under 21 game and it generated a really positive atmosphere, also there were really good facilities under the stand that i was in.
Lets just worry about getting there first !
