Are thre any plans in the pipeline for a trust?
I see from supporters direct the club has made an enquiry but nothing else has come from it.
In light of changing football environments it might be a good idea to think about it.

Aye, agreed.
The setting up of the umbrella groups was laid out as a possible starting point to the creation of a trust.
It'd certainly be better to get one in place when things are rosy as opposed to if the club did run into big problems.

Post about this and you're lucky to get a reply. Post about a female with big knockers and you'll get several pages.

Try here for all the umbrella grouo stuff which directly mentions the creation of a Supporters trust: www.shrewsburytown.premiumtv.co.uk/page/SupportersTrust/0,,10443,00.html Once the season has finally ended I think the work in moving towards this status should start in earnest. And for Dave.....

No good directing me to the Town website, Gareth.
I refused to join because of the irrelevant and impertinent questions on the registration form.

Very sensible. The thought of setting up a supporters trust never crossed my mind but now I would urge anyone, whether they are in the s**t or not, to get one set up. It is a very logical course of action. It is supporters that make a club and therefore they should have a BIG say in what goes on intheir club. Given our (Telford's) predicament I have been doing some reading on the subject and you may find this site an intresting read: www.football-research.org/research.htm - there is even a few references to the Town if you read enough! Also see www.supporters-direct.orgMost importantly a supporters trust can give you the oppertunity to not only have your voices heard but have a representative to ensure the club is being run in the clubs intrests. I feel that if Telford had a supporters trust in place the graveness of our current situation could have been less severe.

My 'For Dave' bit should have had a picture of Jordan after it but it's disappeared.
Probably for the best.
