In fairness lads it was good to here some chanting – but its fair to say you annoyed a few people (not me) on the riverside with your “ look at us were the chanters and its really quite with out us” and Chris Wyinnes little out burst at half time ("we cant here you"!!! - well we could not here you so whats the difference ) went down like a lead balloon!!!!! I just though you would like to know although it ges us nowhere I moved to the Wakemen second half for the first and only time to give the ref some stick and you did well boys – but it seemed no bugger else in the stand wanted to join in with you. BTW there was some really angry stuff on the riverside last night and I have never seen a ref take it so bad from the riverside this season!!

My little quip at half time Glyn was to the Riverside. Thought it may just up the singing a bit and it certainly wasn't intended to offend. If people took it the wrong way then I'm sorry. You could hear the Riverside when they did sing, but it was probably a little quieter as a few of the lads who would normally chant were of course in the stand. Yep there were some good new songs created last night Gareth. I'm sure they'll be sung again, starting with Morecombe on Saturday.

I thought the ASFC singing and supporting was excellent- nobody should take offense at such passionate support

Glyn, you'll be a member of the prawn sandwich brigade yourself next season Anyway, it wasn't sarnies, it was chicken or vegetable soup (we'd had our main meal the date the original game was called off!).
