commentary from Gerry as it happened suggested an over the top tackle. Ref had no option, from how it was described.
add the red to his previous poor disciplinary record and its possible he could miss the semis at least

From the FA.com site ' A player who is dismissed from the Field of play for Violent Conduct, Serious Foul Play or spitting at an opponent or any other person whether he has previously been cautioned in the match or not, will be suspended automatically from all domestic League, League Cup, FA Challenge Cup matches and Friendly matches commencing on the 14th day following the match in which he was sent off and until such time as his Club's recognised Senior Team has completed three (3) matches in approved Competitions during the period covered by its opening match in The Football Conference and ending with the final match in which the Club is playing in a domestic Competition organised by The Football Association, The Football Conference or matches concerning a Club's nominated County Senior Cup Competition. The 1st playoff leg is in 9 days and the second is in 13 days so hopefully he'll be available for both Dont hold out much hope for the final if we make it though

Thought moss deserved to be sent off tonight, any challenge that starts 2 meters away from player and ball is asking for trouble.

no way! the blokes gone in looking for moss to foul. he was lying on the floor and waiting for moss to jump in. moss tryed to stay on his feet and so had to go over the top as he could not stop. at the very most i would say it was a booking.

Moss deserved to go. Shocking tackle (OK I know they don't always get punished so harshly but they should).
Will be interesting to see if Quinn goes through with the appeal. I'm sure when he looks again at the video he will realise that there will be no point in doing so.
And, for christ sake, what was the point in diving in at that part of the field. Stay on your feet.

OK so I was 50 yards across the pitch but it looked like a two footed, studs showing tackle to me. Very reckless and I thought the ref had no choice but to send him off.
Cramb should have gone too after his petulance in walking away from the ref as he was going to book him for a foul. Add dissent to the original foul that makes two yellows and goodnight Crambie. Thought he threw the toys out of the pram and deserved to be subbed.

Maybe the bloke was lying on the floor because he'd gone for the ball. having won the ball he didnt expect moss to be sliding in two footed 10seconds late.
Had to go.
To be honest you'd have thought the ref had had a mare, but he gave a peno his lino was flagging for, he sent a player off who had to go and he booked Cramb when he could quite easily have sent him off.
He also showed common sense by talking to the players as opposed to just handing out yellow cards.
And the sod still gets slated all match!!!

That was so clearly a red card it was unbelievable. Its probably the worst tackle I have seen from a Town player since Aiston broke Sheldon's leg a few years back. We can have no complaints
The penalty looked extremely harsh. There was nothing to it.
Cramb's head has finally been turned by having his place in the team taken by the artisan Darby. Pity, because until then it looked as though we were going to play football for a change.
But I didn't see anything that warranted anything more than a yellow card from the ref - although clearly a second yellow was on its way.
I thought we were let down by more than one senior professional today, and poor David Ridler had to fight hard for 10 minutes or so to keep our compliment of players up to 10.
I thought Luke had blown the goal-scoring opportunity because he had knocked the ball too far in front of him. Luckily the keeper committed himself a fraction too early.
Joe Hart should be very disappointed with the goal.
All in all not a performance that brings any real hope for the play-offs.... Morecambe Saturday doesn't look a great prospect although the weather forecast doesn't look too bad.

Shocking tackle, saw it replayed in the bar at half time and it confirmed it. Two footed and over the top.

IMO Cramb was lucky to stay on the pitch. The first yellow was for a barrage of abuse towards the ref. Picking a fight while walking away with a Gravesend player wasn't the smartest of moves neither was pointing at the referee and shouting more abuse as he walked off to be subbed.
