Hate coaches - getting the train down in the afternoon, bargin £13 via crewe. Getting the first train back at 5.30 the next day. (also £13) Plan to have an all night drinking session in the Capital followed by a McDonalds breaky about fourish Anyone know and late night pubs / bars in the Camden area?

Could you give some more details about that cheap train journey, where you purchased them, what time departure and to which station in London please?

Booked tickets on-line 2 days ago. The cheapest I could find was leaving shrewsbury at half two then changing at Crewe onto the Virgin train to Euston (who would have thought Crewe and Virgin in the same sentence!) Difficult to get back the same day..hence my decision to make a night of it

Really not sure yet? Live in derby now, so am looking at driving to telford services to pick up coach. or driving to shrews to pick up supporters bus. Also considering driving but dont have a clue where to park etc.. shame there is not a coach running from around here!! what do you lot think is best way??

im not sure, theres 3 of us from derby, but havent heard of anyone else apart from you.. we'd be up for it if it works out cheaper than the train..

will wait and see if anyone else responds? done a quick quote online and you are looking at £25 per person plus whatever arsenal charge for coach parking

If you are driving down, you should think about parking at Cockfosters and heading down from there on the Piccadilly Line.

Thanks very much. there are still £13 singles from shrewsbury to euston reurning next morning Link------> National Rail you can get an 11.30pm train from Euston back as far as Wolves on the night for £7.50
