Dont think I'll bother with the coach, cant be bothered to sit in a stuffy mobile sweat box and not get to the ground until 7pm (knowing my luck) Tempted to do what I did for Wembley, drive down the M1 with plenty of time to spare, find the nearest tube station to the M25 (which will be Cockfosters in Arsenal's case) get to the ground nice and early for a look around (hopefully around 5pm), take some pics etc, then grab some food and drink in one of the cafes/pubs near the ground before settling down for the match Apparently the 'Arsenal' tube station is a nightmare after games, but I'm willing to risk it

Coach probably. Especially if tickets are as cheap as the other thread rumours them to be... leaves a bit more money than I budgeted for.

Had a look at trains Stafford is nearest station to me, and i can get a ticket from Stafford to Euston on the 3.30 for £6.00 Problem is that the last train from Euston back to Staffords is at 10pm so theres no way i will be able to get that unless i leave the ground around 9.15, therefore missing the last 15mins So, looks like i am driving down and finding a car park somewhere near Any suggestions??

Quick and easy tube ride for me from my home in Yiewsley, North West London! Get out of work as early as possible, meet my parents and girlfriend, get on the metropolitan line to Kings Cross and then the Piccadily from Kings Cross to Arsenal Underground Station!

Straight on the Piccadilly line from work - then back to Clapham, easy! I have 5 Arsenal fans sat around me at work – looking forward to the banter this week.

How are you getting to Arsenal? I'll probably go via train - haven't decided yet. Any chance of you finally getting a job and funding your love of football?

You may as well get off at Holloway Road if you're doing that - it's far closer to the stadium than the Arsenal tube.

If it's £10 to get in, I just need to find another £1,000 or so for a flight from Tokyo Haneda to London Heathrow and then on the Piccadilly Line

This is firmly in the camp of a day off being required. Will drive down to London Early doors, get parcked up near the ground somewhere free (or cheap for the day like a tube station, not checked yet) then get into Central London for the afternoon, and then back to the ground for the match, and then drive home. Got to make a day of it!

Train down from either Derby or Notts...arrive in London just gone 6. Any ideas on suggestions for a reasonable time scale to get back to St. Pancras, should the game finish within 90 minutes. I hear the nearest tube station is horrendous after the final whistle.

I'll be getting the train to Victoria from work (Worthing). Then a tube train or two. Is there a pub to meet in? I'm not very good at introductions. Shall I wear an Albionshrew t-shirt or badge?

Going on the coach - no other choice really.
On another note - do you think the club will sell tickets on a one per season ticket basis or will they just sell as many as they can? Hopefully the latter as the more they sell presumably the more money they will get.

Indeed - I really hope they get this one right. So many fans will have family or friends who want to go (me included) as it is a great opportunity to see the Emirates Stadium and they will want to sit together. Not all of mine who want extra tickets are those who only go to 'glory' games either. Some of them were even at Barnet for both the GP and PS games!!!!!!! It's just that they live a long way from Shrewsbury.
