Ok finally got phone line now in desparate need of broadband connection can anyone give me some reccomendations for the best providers at the moment
Looking for a 512k connection for £19.99 ish with free connection (I have a modem from when I was in Jersey), not fussed about webspace or e-mail, if anyone knows of anywhere, i've looked at freeserve, bt and tiscali but i'm lazy and its taking too long to search at the moment.
Cheers in advance

Force9.net is 18.99 a month, Ive used it for 2 years now, and have no reason to complain.

A good place to start is www.ispreview.co.uk. Lots of useful information, such as which companies cover your area and prices for diff packages I've used NTL Broadband for a couple of years now without any problems - although I'm sure that puts me in the minority

I'm with Telewest - I think you can do a postcode search on their website to see if it's available for your area. Their USB modem seemed flaky (or maybe it was me) but have had no problems with a NIC card.
