Getting more than a little annoyed at the 'play offs are a lottery' brigade. The play offs are about three cup games...the best team over the three games wins the play off final. so why is it being called a 'lottery'? It becomes a lottery if the wind, snow, dodgy liners, rain etc intervene. Last year Donny were a full 14 points adrift of Morcambe, I think I am right in that, and look how they have performed this year. I have always felt that if we finished in the mini league play offs at the end of the season, then that had to be counted as a success. Of all the sides that we have played at Gay Meadow this season, I would say that the best football has come from Leigh, Hucknall and Aldershot....not Hereford and Chester. Staggered to find that in the press today that Chester have been promoted playing 'an attractive brand of attacking football'!!! That the club is well run and will be a credit to the Nationwide League, and look set to emulate Doncaster!!! Err............ The team that can handle the pressure of these next few games, will send their club into the Nationwide.

Yes Ll, just a phrase, which in some ways supports what you are saying- once you are in the draw you are just as likely to win as any of the teams regardless of the final league positions- but you are right in that there is no luck required if you put together 3 good matches. Come on you Shrews
