Is it just me or is anyone else underwhelmed by the contributions made by our latest signing? I have now watched him on 3 occasions playing for us and consider the best performance i've seen by him was when playing for Telford against the Town. Against Hereford he played a very limited game and was booked for a reckless challenge from behind. Against Chester he was better, and to give him credit was responsible for some last ditch tackles even though lacking creativity. However, against Stevenage I thought him to be our worst player by a distance. Slow to react, lacking pace, hitting aimless balls, giving away unnecessary free kicks and once again being booked. Am i being fair?

He was superb against Chester. Every player has an off day and yesterday was his first off day for the Town. My only criticism of Trevor is that he doesn't get forward enough. Other than that he is quality.

I think he's been an excellent signing and our best left back this season by a distance.

A good signing yes but yesterday was certainly not one of his better days

I think he has been excellent overall and is a very good signing for the club as he is a.) left footed and b.)not Gregor Rioch!!

When he was at Telford, he was nicknamed Mr Reliable. Doesnt try to do anything fancy but does the simple things well. However, he was playing at Centre Back for us, so maybe he should be trying to get forward if he's at left back

Very composed, good in the tackle and great in the air- the lad is a class act However, yesterday he looked tired, lacking in concentration and his clearences were a bit dodgy. Let's put it down to a bad day in the office

NLP gave him 7/10 - must have been watching a different game. I thought he was very average, but overall a good signing. Quinn might be saving Lawrence for the play-offs now then?

He does a workmanlike job and links up well with Sam - brings Sam more into the game which can't be a bad thing. Sam defends, Challis defends, as the need arises, with an understanding better than the you would expect after just a few games. When Sam goes forward Challis backs him up.
We were lucky yesterday! A few moments of passion after half time. Let's hope the fact that they are in the play-offs will stir up the passion for some rousing performances

Shut up JP-sam set up the second goal with a "raking crossfield" pass.
As for Challis, well he does what a left back is supposed to do, covers the centre backs, wins everything in the air, wins most challenges, doesnt get out of position and holds the line. Not spectacular but essential.
