Great display today. Even when they scored, he delayed it for a few seconds with one fabulous save. Surely he was man of the match? We were on the ropes in the first half and would probably have lost but for him keeping them out.

I thought he was MOM too. A few mis-placed kicks but other than that he was excellent - and what a superb save in the first half.

His first half save was great and kept us in it. The save seconds before they scored would have gone down as one of the best at the GM ever if the ball had been cleared instead of being bundled into the net.

sounded like they put some decent crosses in from out wide too, and kept him pretty busy throughout.

Howie is the best keeper we have had at the GM for many years. Also looks like Him and Tinson have kissed and made up which can only help team spirit.
Good to see Cramb bring some quality to our attack.Would like to have seen Luke stay on with him though.Thought DD was very poor today.

i didnt see the first save very clearly but a save is a save,............seems your right with tinno and howie mind, one instance springs to mind 2nd half when tinno made a bad clearence and was stood watching and howie pushed him in the right direction after it had all passed tinno turned and smiled winked and all as good, Also bringing on Cramb was good but taking Rodgers off was the best idea as we dont want 2 yellows going in to the playoffs do we, think darby had a commanding game and far from poor watching him and cramb together for 15 mins was good

Good comments, peted. Luke went off because he had already been booked and Stevenage were a cynical team of whingers and nigglers. It was very possible that Luke could have ended up being sent off. Cramb did really well, he won every header he contested and played intelligently. I'd stick with Luke and Duane for now though.
I didn't see that little moment with Tinno you refer to, good to hear. The back five pretty much picks itself now and is very solid. Given our lack of centre-back cover we have been very lucky not to get more injuries. Credit to Tinno and Ridler too for not getting more suspensions. They don't dive in and therefore don't get too many bookings...

Good question. I would say Darby, but if rodgers was out i don't think Cramb and Darby up front would work, whereas Cramb and Rodgers would work (if darby was to of got a second yellow)

Howie was shouting his head off at the Wakeman end, so looks like he's gained the testicular fortitude to tell everyone where he wants them, he was even drowning out Tinno some of the time. Seemed to be a man in charge of his area, and some good stopping. One or two bad calls (calling a keeper's to Challis then putting it straight to their man in the middle), but nothing worth crying about. Top job Scottie
