they've bottled it all right. if that were a school playground, he'd have got at least a four day suspension and had to do double geography for the remainder of the week

I'm not surprised he isn't appealing. He seems to have gotten off pretty lightly - a four-match ban for head-butting an opposing player on the field in the heat of the moment would be about right, but head-butting a member of the opposition's coaching staff (who is easily old enough to be his father) on the sidelines after the game has finished, having already pushed him in the face during the game!? Seems a more serious matter to me. Compare this punishment for a physical assault to Drogba's six-game ban (two suspended) for verbally abusing the ref a couple of years ago and it does indeed seem that UEFA apply different standards when it comes to English clubs.
