A few things for ASFC players and STFC supporters alike to look at note and where possible give help please. ASFC End of Season DoNot sure of a date yet (but it will be a Friday or Saturday night) as it depends on the play-offs. But it is the intention to hold a little get together at the Telepost Club, Abbey Foregate with a disco and raffle. Tickets for this event will be £5 and will include a £2 go on a footy card, from which the winner will receive £50. There should be enough going to get 2 cards done so 2 people will have a profitable night. The raffle will include as a main prize the new away shirt. There will also be 2 Shrewsbury Town signed balls and any other prizes that people are kind enough to donate. Raffle tickets will be available at £2 a strip and on sale from the Chester game. ASFC Summer Footy TournamentsThe CHAOS Cup (Orient tourny) is on Saturday May 15th (please note this is the day before the play-off final, but I would hope that wouldn't be a problem as we would come back on the Saturday night) Both the Blackpool and Queens Park (Glasgow) events are on Saturday June 5th. I still think we can enter both as I'm hoping some will want to go to one and the rest to the other. Before committing to any of these tournaments I need to know what ASFC players intend to do. Entry to the 3 is £145 so I don't want to enter them then not have a team turning up. To show you are committed to these comps I am going to ask all ASFC members for a £5 payment for each comp they are going to play in PAYABLE NOW. I also need to know who is thinking of driving / train etc so as I can make sure you can all get to them. Please let me know asap either by replying here, e-mailing or ringing me. HELP TO SELL RAFFLE TICKETS Finally, if anyone can help to sell raffle tickets for the new away shirt and signed footballs etc, I'm all ears. In particular I would hope those members of ASFC who do actively fundraise could give a hand, but if any others on here can sell to their mates in the ground or at work wherever, that would be a huge help and as I always say, it all goes to the club we love. Thank you for taking the time to read this and, in particular, thank you in anticipation for your co-operation and help.

Thank you Mr Allen.
I've put you down for Orient, but if you read my post again, you will see that Glasgow and Blackpool are the same date. Which of the 2 are you wishing to partake in?

Thanks Nick. That would be a great help. What time will you be down the Meadow tonight? Come to think of it, are you in work today? I am, so I could meet you on the landing! I have the tickets wth me now. Alternatively I could leave them at the reception at STFC.
Let me know which is best, cheers.

Nick,
I have already popped into your work about 20 minutes ago. They said they hadn't seen you!
I have an envelope with a book of tickets and a piece of paper with a bit more info with your name on it.
What time will you or Alan be down at the Players bar? I will drop it down as soon as.
Do you need a pen or will you have one with you?

Yep that's great Nick.
I've just spoken to Chris Jarrett and am going to leave the envelope with him and he said he will pass it to Alan when he gets there.
Hopefully that should get to you safely no problems. Just in case tho' it's a brown A5 sized envelope.
If poss as well as tonight and the Thursday meeting, could you give it a little push for the Stevenage home game on Sat? If so that would be excellant.
Thanks once again.

Thanks to Nick and Pilch for their help in selling raffle tickets last night. Also to Dave Fletcher who took a book to sell round his work place.
I would be very grateful if there are any people out there who would be able to sell them in the pubs and / or at the game on Saturday against Stevenage, particularly members of ASFC as it is our raffle after all.
Please let me know by replying here or e-mail or ring.
Thanks.

Yes, 3 bottles of gin wasn't it? In all seriousness, your terms are accepted. However, I now need a mini bus as Karhire are booked up. I may be able to get one elsewhere but won't know until early next week. Does anyone know a company who will do Saturday day hire? (most only do weekend hire at around £200 and sorry it's too much).
