How many brain cells do you have, seriously posting something like this with 45 minutes to go still.

Better than any Striker currently at the GM.

Simpson thought he was rubbish. That's enough for me to decide he's good at this level.

Better than any Striker currently at the GM. I liked the look of him here, and he has had a great goal scoring record since then, but even the Oxford fans dont think hes that good, just in the right place at the right time, just like Darren Bent, and look how much hes supposidly worth.

What nonsense dannymorris - Beano is idolised at Oxford. That's 2 for a player not good enough for the football league.

constanble going was a bad bit of judgement from mager/board whoever ! just like letting go, holt, benji, humps, herd, moss! we need to be more stubborn and hold on to our best players !

He works hard too, and clearly put in a shift tonight. Shame a few of our own players only bust a gut when they fancy it.

Fair play, came back out 2nd half with two high quality finishes! Still pretty sure our defence made him look better than he is.

Two good finishes regardless of the shambolic defending. Didnt celebrate either goal which was a nice touch - perhaps he is aware the fans were behind him but Simmo thought otherwise?

Well I wouldn't have minded him scoring two goals for us last night! Thanks a bunch Simmo - another fantastic decision not to even the bloke a chance!

On the basis of last night, he could easily cope with another division higher. Lets hope that Collins develops just as well in the next couple of years.................. he does look similar to the Constable of a couple of years ago.

Scored goals at every club he's been at, even Walsall where it didn't quite come off.
Does better than a goal every other game.
As a football club, we made some terrible decisions between 2008 and 2010.

Couldn't agree more. We are still paying for Simpson's time here both by having to pay off his signings: Bright, Neal, who next? - and the fact that he let better players go.
I remember him saying that the decision to release Constable could come back to "bite him on the bum." Wrong, as ever. It's come back to bite us on the bum.

It will be such a breath of fresh air when all the average players have left, the squads finnally starting to look like a 'Turner' side.

Is Constable really that good? On Tuesday he was gifted those two goals, he finished well but I'd expect most League 2 strikers to bury those chances.
His overall play was not great, he also had two good chances earlier on which he fluffed, and the cut back to Hall for their first was awful, just helped by a slip from both Sadler and Sherriff.
I remember him playing for town at Morecambe where he missed 3 or 4 golden chances .... And as for this great scoring record most we're for Oxford and Kiddy at non league level.
Dare I say it but I think Simpson was right to get rid, a conference player which I'm sure will be proved at the Greenhous on the final day where most can finally take the Constable rose-tinted specs off, unless our defence decide to make him look like Messi again.
