..well almost. their defence let in a couple of uncharacteristically sloppy goals but they looked likely to score every time they went forward.
Clare and Stamp look very dangerous together (although Stamp should have been sent off - do the Conference look at video evidence when the ref misses something?).
Twiss in midfield was different class and if he plays like that at the Meadow will really show our guys up.
On that display we will do well to get a point from the Champions.

Just like to say yes he should have walked for the challenge, however he didn't. Furthermore, I would like to suggest that CCFC take legal action against the conference if they use video evidence as I haven't heard of video reviews being used against other conference clubs.

'Video evidence?', legal action!!! are you having a laugh.
What Stamp did amounts the assault are the referee 'missing' that incident has and will have a massive impact on the Championship.
Why, well answer yourself these two questions. Firstly would Chester have won with Stamp being sent off? Would have been alot harder. Secondly if he had (definately should have) he would have missed the game against Hereford, a very significant team change for Chester!
So please don't defend the indefensible. He should of been sent off, was not and if the FA do or do take futher action, it should not be challenged because he was in the wrong!

He wasn't sent off so end of story. I will admit though, at the time and from where we were standing it did look like a straight red card. Did you notice there were no protests from the Exeter team? Either they didn't see it happen or it wasn't as bad as it looked on tv (and at the ground ).

I would rather Chester have a full team out when we beat them and clinch the championship. Don't want them to have any excuses.

You need us to beat them first. Seems like a tall order at the moment.
