Thats a kick in the pips and no mistake. Could take a while to get this out of the system. Hope Turner can get minds back on track and focused on the League...
Injury time winners was it? Schade schade...

ft 2-0
Sounds a good performance and a fortunate first Saints goal.
It's all about the league now

Bit of a choker to finish like that. But Im sure on reflection the lads will take heart that we matched them virtually all the way.
Roll on the visit to the 'Nidge.

Unlucky today Town, sounds like we put in a very good shift. It's dissapointing, but we've got to focus on Stevenage next week. Good point by Ant on ShrewsPlayer that we've lost with a last minute goal today, after winning with one on Tuesday.

At least this year heads can be held up high while going out in the first round. Come lads - it's the league now and for once we really believe you can do it!

Look at it this way;
Chesterfield through Port Vale need a replay Bury through Wycombe through Rotherham need a replay Torquay through
So every other team in the top 7 are now guaranteed to have to play more games than us over the rest of the season.
Now we're out let's hope they all make the 5th round!

Ainsworth on for whats his name (obay---) wont ever get used to his name !! Sounds like having decent spell again, second wind Had a feeling this change could have been our undoing. Weakened our right side from a defensive perspective. Would it have been better given the pressure we were under to bring on a more solid Benji or Leslie? Hindsight is a wonderful thing huh?

What a shame for the team and all the fans who were at the game must be gutted after what happened.

It's my fault. I was talking to Mrs O about replay dates and when the tickets might go on sale with 5 minutes of the game left.
Sorry.
As for sfc, ignore that goon; clueless.
Oh and mlt, Charlton are 5th, while Oldham are 11th a whole 3 points behind Southampton.

Looking at the Saints forum, not one mention of credit for our performance - all down to Southampton having an off day apparently, as they look down their noses!

Thanks for your words, as for being sure of promotion is a dangerous thing, a poor run at the end of the season and the playoffs could see you in Div 1 for another season, having lost 2 playoff finals recently it is devastating and often gives a hangover into the next season.

I think Turners only mistake was playing Jake instead of Matt, but apart from that it sounded like a great team display. Special mention for Dean Holden, who was all over the park and gave an immence performance.

They were like the kid who owns the ball and fecks off home with it. It's okay for them to come out with all sorts of "nasties".. when they get it back they ban you.. Oh well. Do us a favour, say hello to them six fingers, inbred, knuckle dragging t055pots for me
