Completely unrelated to Town but Owen Hargreaves has had to go off injured 5 minutes into his man united comeback - such a shame he is injured all the time
Dover 2.0 up at Gillingham in the cup

Attendance only 10,410 so not sure if the reduced tickets helped If tickets had cost £25, the attendance would have been about 5,000. Well that's your guess anyway. Read a few Saints fans saying there'd be 15-20,000 with reduced prices. Clearly not so. Rather see a bigger crowd paying lower prices but, if the bigger crowd doesn't materialise, I can understand why a club might prefer to keep the price higher.

We wanted to charge £10, but you wanted higher prices, and the FA agreed with you that we could not charge the minimum price. I predicted 10,000 at £15, so 10,410 is higher than I expected.

Poor crowd especially seeing as the saints pulled in 20,000 for the glamourous visit of Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday. Should net Town anywhere between £50-£70,000 so perhaps boosts GT's Jan transfer budget further. A draw here and potential TV replay coverage could gain us another £100k.

Poor crowd especially seeing as the saints pulled in 20,000 for the glamourous visit of Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday. But Dag & Red are a division higher than Shrewsbury, so are obviously a bigger club (going by the logic of some fans on here). Cheap ticket prices helped as well.

Match along the coast from southampton seems to have been the one to go to - bournemouth 3.0 v tranmere pegged back to 3.3 now Bournemouth have a 5th - must be where all the saints fans went!

Some intresting scores today, Crewe and Vale both looking like being humiliated... West Ham, proving why they are heading down... 2 up and panic back to 2-2 (you would be money on Brum now) Oldham having a nightmare too in there local derby loseing 3-1 to Accrington... Oh and United huffing and puffing against wolves but its 1-1 (surely they will get there classic late winner in a minute ) As for town, hold on lads... this would be a great result, and just reward for the 700+ who made it down!
