A wins a win but we really should have done a lot better. Looked shaky when Sharps went off (why taken off?) Should have really been more as all Robinson had to do was role it to Obedayi's feet to tap it in for 3-1 and vice versa when Obedayi just missed after retreiving the ball in a good position and made his run.
We made very hard work of it and felt very nervous when Barnet were dominating towards the end. Hopefully it will be addressed for Crewe.
Craig Disley man of the match for me. Hope he bangs in a few more.

Robinson isn't best pleased with him for not squaring it...

Good to get a win but the performance wasn't great in the second half.
Sorry to bang on about it but it's the central midfield is the problem - very little movement forward, not great at breaking up play and not overly creative. Until that's fixed we're going to have games like today where the opposition have too much of the ball and sides better than Barnet will punish us

three points, hard erned and realy thats all that matters. there were periods of excelence and periods of poorness but thats footbal.... great to head into a tough period of three away games with three points.... as for passing, i dont blame tope for not pasing Robo was so selfish today and he had a square pass to Tope he decided not to take 10 mins before.... There both selfish for what happened today, but thats strikers for you

Not bad, not bad.
Wasn't best impressed with Tope... he has a good touch, but his shooting and some of his crossing is terrible... he should have passed it to Jake, but even then, he should have scored!
Disley MOM for me... Got a goal and made some great tackles... good performance all round.
Wright also impressed... a few good runs down the wing and a reasonable link with Sadler.
Matty. H. was as good as ever, won everything and topped it off with a goal.
Overall, /10
Neal - 7 Raven - N/A Sharps - 7 SCS - 8 Sadler - 8 Wright - 8 Disley - 9 Macca - 8 Tope - 6 Robbo - 6/7 Harrold - 8 Holden - 7 DOD - 7 BVDB - 7

Think all of those scores are a bit high - good workman like performance today but we were playing a side with just 3 wins and as such wouldn't give anyone more than 7 out of 10.
Harrold man of match for me - great work rate and fast becoming our most important player

A stop start game from town today, we got going at times but couldn't sustain it for long periods and as ever we made a nervy end out of a game that began to look quite comfortable.
Saying that, we could have scored a fair few more and at least creating wasn't a problem, they say beat whats in front of you and that is what we did so I suppose, fair play and now roll on crewe!
Tope is frustrating, he is exciting when he gets the ball, strong and fast and sometimes drifts past defences with ease, however his decision making and selfishness are something Turner needs to sort out. It wasn't just that easy one at the end where he didn't pass to robinson - a man guilty of it today too but he scares the opposition and does more than the present Ainsworth does.

Not bad - a fairly even first half so good to go in two-nil (we continue to get the breaks at home and none away). Second half was a good game - we got in shed loads of good positions but were wasteful with the opportunities whereas Barnet were patient and more involved without causing too many dodgy moments.
I'm also concerned the amount of space our centre mids give the opposition but was delighted with the performances from Obadeyi and especially Harrold - I'd be very tempted to play them together on Tuesday night up front and drop Robinson.

Hate to focus on negative but the centre of midfield is poor, it puts pressure on our back four, our wingers and our front two,

I too would drop Robinson, really poor today, it was him that lost possession for their goal and Harrold certainly let him know about it. Along with Tope, very selfish, but there was more a bit more excitement from Tope, and bar his shooting, I thought was excellent.
The only positive from Robinson today was his run and assist for the first.
Very unprofessional last 5-10 minutes when we couldn't keep the ball for 2 seconds and doing our best to give Barnet possession as much as we could. What on earth was Disley doing taking a quick free kick in the 89th minute??

Ferkle94, I was obviously at a different game! Sherriff 8?! And though Tope had a decent game although agree that his shooting isn't his strong point but players like him with ability, strength and pace are an asset in any team.
Central midfield remains our weakness. Though individually they play ok the quality is just not good enough and teams running through the centre give us problems.

The word on the street, is that Tope got the MOTM award, in both the Sponsors lounge and Sovereign Sweet. You heard it here third.

Felt we made hard work of it, best period was before half time when we went 2-0 up, then we were clearly on top imo.
2nd half fairly poor to start off with, when Barnet scored we attacked a bit more and could have scored another goal or two, if we had finished those chances. But Barnet also had chances to equalise.
Got the win thats the main thing, but need to improve against Crewe on Tuesday.

Some of our fans were ridiculously negative on the radio, and a few at the game aswell, we won, could have scored quite a few more, and restricted Barnet to few chances, we are in League 2, how can quite a large section of our support expect us to play like Arsenal every week? As a fan who is able to travel to 90% of away games and all home games, it angers me when some people who hardly turn up most weeks can come and be so negative.

was a half decent game to watch, sometimes we need a macca type player for sure, but maybe a better version of him?robbo blows hot and cold, but on his day with the ball at his feet in front of goal he is great, just not always that effective when we are scrapping for it?

Have had to give up my season ticket unfortunately. Today and Lincoln I returned to block 17 with my old man after having spent the rest of this calendar year in 19. What a lot of clueless whingers there are there! The Lincoln game included people moaning that we weren't lumping it forward when we were passing it about with the game sewn up Anyway to today. We should have been out of sight. Harrold's performance was magnificent and his fellow front men would be well served to take on board his selflessness. Whilst I wasn't comfortable with us sitting back, it allowed us to pick them off with our pace and a little less greed would have seen us sew it up by 3 or 4.

1-0, 2-1 or 10-0 - 3 points all the same.
Have to agree with some of the comments though..... we need a lot more in the middle.

I can forgive Robinson, or anyone else, having the occasional poor game. What I cannot forgive is a player bottling out of a tackle, as he did on the halfway line, and immediately cost us a goal. He has been doing this all to frequently, especially away, and it appeared that Matt Harold let him know about it.

It was ok today. I think more credit should be given to Barnet in the way they came out fighting in the second half.
In the first half they struggled to cope with our forward play and Matt Harrold was in a different class for the first 45mins, but in the second we were a bit complacent, didn't give them enough respect and they very nearly got back into it.
Obadeyi worked his socks off. I was surprised he didn't come off after he a bit of a knock as he looked knackered. I was really impressed with him, he looks like he has a bit of class about him and with a bit of fine tuning he could be a real asset for this season and maybe beyond. He's got raw talent in abundance and gave 100%, came back to help the defence on many occasions and for me was our MOTM over 90mins.
Neal had a good game. Did well when called upon and one of his saves could be classed as 'outstanding'.
Robinson wasn't great, but he adds something different upfront and partnerships thrive on consistency, so I think Robinson and Harrold should continue for a while yet.
Disley was ok, but our central midfield continues to be a problem area for me. We need a stronger guy there who can make that central area his own.
Other than Barnets fight our biggest problem was coping with the loss of Raven and then Sharps. Sharps is the most inspirational captain we've had for a while and his excellent break up play is hard to replace, so if he fails to make it for Crewe I feel our defence could be in for a difficult time on Tuesday.
O.k performance, but certainly not a bad one and ultimately we were the better team who deserved the 3 points.

Barnet pushing up second half and playing three at the back put us under pressure but it could of cost them too...workmanlike stop start performance from us 3 pts is what matters.
I am a little concerned going to Crewe without Sharps ! But if we attack them I feel they are just as defensively vulnerable
