Before I even read the first post I had a funny feeling it would be Vale park ! Strange, a 19,000 seater stadium, second largest capacity in this division by a country mile, second biggest pitch in the country gets his vote? Ah well, yet another still a tad miffed bout last Tuesday me thinks........

No Beruit Burslem is a s**thole always has been always will be - and thats coming from someone who works there every now and again Are there parts of Stoke that you would rate above that level? I discovered last year that Longton is worse than in the 1980s. At least then the punk rockers used to add a bit of colour to the shopping precinct.

And the greasy burger at wembley has probably come from an animal that has been slaughtered inhumanely.

Plymouth away in a Fa cup match no roof and froze to death nearly then had a good Paul Tester Goal turned down in last min.! you should have sat in the stand you would also have seen that the ball probably did not cross the line, but it was a right scramble - was it Tester, I thought it was a year or two after his time ?

View wise would have to be Hereford if you werent lucky enough to get there early to get at the back of the stand behind the goal, Northwich (I think it was Witton) where again I got there late and Blackpool in the old terrace behind the goal with a massive bit of sheet metal going down the middle of it.
Intimidating atmosphere wise, Cardiff away on boxing day with around 13,000 of them and 200 of us huddled in the corner.
Depressing night/match wise, Mansfield away on a Friday night stood a delapidated, side terrace with no roof in the pouring rain, getting hammered 4-0.
Overall match experience wise, Chester at Sunday lunchtime

Darlington and Hartlepool are dumps and the grounds (Darlo old one of course) were no better.

Northampton when they were at the County Ground, awful watching football in half a cricket half a football ground.

Darlington and Hartlepool are dumps and the grounds (Darlo old one of course) were no better. Two decent Towns you must drink in all the wrong places! Feethams was old and decrepid but had a great atmosphere, usually a decent pitch and the longest walk ever if you were carrying the Boot box! Great Cricket batting wicket to! Victoria Park is a decent lg 1 or 2 ground now and is light years ahead of some of the dumps other posters have mentioned. 20 years ago it was a disgrace il give you that! Runcorn is the worst ground ive experienced, even winning an FA cup tie there didnt heighten the experience!

Gillingham. Unfriendly fans and a very expensive day out (nothing to do with losing)

conference days = margate (dover) I remember that one well. Watched part of the game stood behind the dug out below pitch level over Chic's shoulder (on edit, that makes me very tall so must be a strange memory) - learn some creative ways to use the F word. The ref had to walk through a cage through the terrace to get to the portakabin changing rooms, shortly after sending off their forward. Not pleasant. The burger was great though. Gravesend - never a more appropriate name given to a town.

Tinpot. Scarborough. St Andrews. I used to love Feethams and the non league mentality of the fans, swapping ends at half time

Millmoor for me, which no-one else has mentioned. Scrap metal yards on 2 or 3 sides? The worst bogs I have EVER seen!

Think Telford takes some beating, mainly due to all the morons who come out of the TF woodwork and share a faulty brain cell.

Leeds. Sitting in the main stand and cheering when Town scored wasn't the smartest move I've ever made! Very very intimidating.
Agree with the earlier comments about Wembley too.
