If your going tomorrow, a bank holiday weekend, after the dross that we've had to endure these last few weeks you must be off your heads. I've done my share of away trips this season but tomorrow is a trip to far. I'm absolutely fed up with reading the Sloppy Star and seeing another Town player extolling the virtue's of our "amazing "away support and how every game is like playing at home and then the team turning in a performance that wouldn't do justice to the West Shropshire league. They deserve f*ck all support and i would go so far as to suggest we should boycott an away game as a show of strength ,both to the team and the board , which would also serve as a reminder that we're not going to follow meekly behind weak management and p*ss poor decision making like we have in the recent past. It's time we started being pro active as a supporter base and this may mean making decisions that on the face of it look self defeating but in the long run may make a few people at the club question the current situation of taking us for bloody granted.

I'm off shopping to Shrewsbury tomorrow, I shall be sitting at home watching TV on Tuesday night (ok, I might listen to the commentary), and I am going away for a couple of days starting next Saturday. I think I have been to my last game of the season.

xcraigx, I'm with you , i just can't build up the enthusiasm anymore. On Tuesday we have what should have been the biggest game of the season for me and now i'm looking for other things to do. I have long planned a weekend in Morcambe as a celebration of a season's work well done but now , even if we qualify for the play off's i know deep down that we just don't have the bottle for the occasion... we're good enough .. we just bdon't have the BOTTLE .

Fair play Jamo and theres no one who can dissagree in what you have said, however i've been home and away this season and seen the ups and down, recently theres been more downs than up's , i'll be there tomorrow although i'll be there to bollock Quinn big time and let him know it, or if we win i'll reserve myself until tuesday, Quinn has a lot to answer for, players sometimes put the performances in and the majority of times they don't, but sometimes they come away with a result sometimes undeserved, but he can't fool the real fans........sleep well JQ

I think there will be a good amount of chants directed at Quinn and the team, lets hope they all sink in.

I think people are beginning to show distain Jamo. The following Town get will continue to diminish week after week if things don't improve.
Personally I'm going tomorrow because on Saturday's I get loads more from the football than just the 90 mins in the afternoon, it's a chance to catch up with loads of mates as well as playing for my pride and joy the ASFC.

I agree with all you say Jamo2. Having read 'A season with Verona' this week, I can only say that JQ and the board are lucky they're not in Italy.
I'm going to watch Welshpool this weekend and have a night out with friends. Haven't even decided if I'll do the Gravesend game yet. Having spent the last 3 seasons doing round trips of 200 miles plus for home games, frequently alone (although sharing the odd lifts with fellow board users Picken and DavefromAlty have helped), frequently basing my whole working week around the Blue and Amber shirts, I am feeling immensely disenfranchised with the whole club.

Jamo I understand where you are coming from, as do most, but between now and the end of the season we can have a major effect on how the season pans out.
We have 3 home games left and have looked solid all season at home - 9 points would see us firmly in the play offs. Crowds have been dropping at the meadow recently but now is the time to rally round.
Even if you dont like the Manager or certain players the football club is more important and hilst a boycott sounds good surely the thought of playoff football sounds better?
We are capable of beating anyone at home and just depends on which side turns up today and at Morcambe.
