Simpson in the stands tonight, wonder how he'll set his team up on Sat?
Does look & sound like defending set pieces is a concern for us.

Set pieces we defended well Tex - it was balls from open play in the first half... much better second and Sherriff was excellent.

Just got back from the game; I must say that it was a good effort from the Shrews in the second half. The first half, I thought we didn't do too bad, in Midfield, passing the ball well, but the lacked in quality for the 'Killer ball' or 'touch' from the strikers. However, the defending could be questioned after both goals, in terms of Marking from the Sharps and Cansdell-Sheriff. Also, I thought Neal could of done a lot better with the second goal, from where i sat. It went under his body. Tuncay was quality, he's quickness and close dribbling caused us troubles.
Second Half, an excellent effort from all departments; great effort. Well taken goal, but Carlo Nash was no where to be seen! Wright was a lot more lively in the second half, and McAllister was quality! Definately MoM for me.
Also, to mention the Atmosphere from the Shrewsbury end was quality, even when we losing! Couldn't hear the Stoke sing, only on the few occasions.
