WHAT A BOTTLER!!!!!!!!!
Nadal didn't even have to get out of first gear!!!!!! And the way the BBC big up Murray even when he played so badly!!! A total anti climax - and showed how weak he is in body and mind!!!

Looks like he will be another Henman then, will always bottle it at the semi final stage.
The scary thing is that he is by far the best player Britain has got at the moment, once he's gone, British Tennis is ****ed.
Why are the Brits so poor at so many sports?

This country is the home of many sports but it's increasingly clear that the majority(or is it just the big mouth vocal minority) haven't got a clue about how sport is played and just label people instead.

Spot on. To be expected from certain individuals sadly. No doubt they still cling to the urban myth that Murray said he wanted Paraguay to beat England which is simply not correct as per this link that knuckle draggers like Littlejohn made a great deal about, or is it just plain ant-Scottish sentiment 4th best player in the world, beaten by one of the best tennis players ever who had to play near to the top of his game to triumph - no mean effort.

Very few threads that have acknowledged some of the great tennis Murray has played during this tournament, but the moment he loses against an awesome player the mocking and hate threads appear

So you bottle it unless you win, is that it? One non-bottler per tournament then.
Impressive display of ignorance chaps.

Like it or not his first Grand Slam is edging closer.
Nadal was awesome today. Even Federer would have struggled to live with him.
If it's bottlers you are looking for you won't have to look any further than the overpaid sex pests who passed up Englands best chance of winning the WC for a generation at least.

I've done similar for a joke. I was working close to home, but I popped in to cheer Andy on at a friends house. Heavenly is an English git. Crikey! This is now going to proboards.

Like it or not his first Grand Slam is edging closer. We hear that every time he's knocked out of Wimbledon. Yes he's young and has plenty of time on his side, which his defenders are quick to point out but the greats like Nadal, Federer etc had all won grand slams by now Whether its him bottling it or he simply isnt quite good enough I dont know, although he has shown that he is capable of beating Nadal & Federer but not at crucial moments which suggests it might be the former There is undoubtedly people in this country who dont like him because of the "anyone but England" remark which was said in jest but people have chosen to ignore that. There's also people who dont like him because of his dour personality. Then there's probably people who dont like him in the tennis circuit because he isnt from the same background as that lovely old chap Tiger Tim. The daft thing is the more he loses and becomes a plucky loser, the more the country will probably take to him Mark, as for Englands bottlers, Id disagree with that. They didnt bottle it, they simply arent good enough and got found out

I was with Todd on Henman Hill/Rusedski Ridge/Murray Mount/Tennis Top/Becker Bank/Sampras Slope/Clijsters Cliff/Hewitt Heap/Edberg Embankment/Perry Peak (delete as appropriate) and the general consensus among the masses was that although Nadal was the better player on paper, the result didn't reflect what happened out there.
We bumped into Clive (good to see you btw mate) who summed it up pretty well for me, with "it could have gone either way, Murray just needed a bit more luck on the big points".
