Chin up Wiggie (I'm going to take over your motivational role for a moment ) as bad as things are under Quinn, I still have a strong feeling deep in my heart that the story will have a happy ending, with or without Jimmy. I have often been inspired by what you say about the need to possess heart and desire...well I feel our players DO have it in them, and I believe with all my soul they will find it. The likes of Tolley, Rodgers and Lowe would be crushed by a repeat of last years disappointment, they wont let it happen again. As hard as it is, and as pointless as it seems, we simply HAVE to keep the faith. Floreat Salopia

what sort of stuff do you chill out to wiggy ? on the board you come across as a bit of a slightly more mature hippychick! Please feel free to kick my arse if this is not the case. Being of celtic roots i am quite fond of a bit of folk music but i am more of an old punk myself.(p.s.keep up the poems and songs ,they are an inspiration to we troglodites on the board)cheers Cuzz

Yeah! I guess so, Pete!
We shall over-co-o-ome We shall over-co-o-ome We shall overcome some da--a-a-a-ay!
Oh! Deep in my heart, I do believe That we shall overcome some day!
I think I DO still believe, deep down, too. And thanks for the uplifting words!
Cuzz- does that give you a clue as to my vintage? Joan Baez, Bob Dylan...etc....?
I also like Slade- for the sheer uncomplicated fun- and Queen - and in every decade there's something I like- in the 90s it was Pulp. I've got extremely varied tastes, actually. I like Mozart, too- honest.
But for strumming the guitar to- can't beat 1960s Protest Songs- they tend to have easy chords, too!! I once did a supply lesson at my school- music with year 6- and taught them "Where have all the flowers gone" and Dylan's "Blowing in the wind". (It's history, too for kids of that age!) It could be appropriate for today, with Iraq and all that.
