Just been taking a look at new N-Power League 2 Table for next season, and at a first glance, i really dont see that many teams in their at all that i am certain will go up. Last season i think that Everyone knew that Notts County would be their or thereabouts in the top 3, but next season i cant really single out one team that i would place any sort of bet on? Baring that in mind, this season we have a fantastic chance of Promotion, if we hit a bit of consitency, then Who knows?

Nobody really stands out. If we add a striker, centre mid, right winger and possibly keeper then we have as good a chance as anyone. I also believe Turner may well get a bit more out of last seasons under-performers.

I think that Wycombe stand out for me.
So far we have three new defenders and a squad that finished mid table last time round minus its top scorer. You have to be optimistic in the extreme to think that at this moment 'we have a fantastic chance of promotion'.
I am hoping we sign some good players in the coming weeks and I think that we will. However I also think we need to be realistic and fair as to what we expect next season, unfortunately Simpson left Turner some very average players under contract.
Maybe its best not to get too excited or despondent too quickly once the season starts. Still, lets hope its you who is right on this one.

At least we are starting off the season in better shape than last year. Last year we started in 23rd position. This season we have moved up to 19th

Port Vale will be strong next season. Mickey Adams inherited a total shambles but has slowly and surely transformed them into an ever-improving unit. This summer will see them clear out the remainder of the deadwood and strengthen themselves in key positions. I expect them to finish in the top 7, and quite possibly the top 3.
Also, as others have said, Taylor will get Bradford into the top 7, and Wycombe's forward line looks a cut above anyone else's at the moment.

Rotherham will be hungry for success after defeat in the play-off final, I can see them doing well again this season.

Agree about Port Vale being strong.
I also think Lincoln have brought together a decent group of players.

With Simmo in charge at Stockport they'll be in the mix!
(sorry not to be able to write more, but some men in white coats are knocking on my door.)

I don't have the same level of knowledge that some of you possess of the players that our rivals are signing. However, I do think that we had less to do than some of our rivals. I'm sure that Simpson didn't get the best from the team something Turner will do. I also think that players like Bradshaw will get their chance and will be pushing for a place from the start. It appears that clubs from higher levels were looking at a number of our younger players so maybe we've already got the wow signing ! I'm always pleased to see a young player coming through the ranks they play with a passion that you rarely see in a player brought in, so I'm really quite hopefull of a top 5 challenge this season.

what about some of those relegated? Gillingham in particular They've got Fola Onibuje on trial so do not fill me with fear at the mo! Wycombe and Bradford look the obvious ones, but agree Lincoln and Port Vale could do well. We could do a lot worse than challenge Lincoln for Davide Somma on loan from Leeds.

Gillingham look strong for this league, as do Wycombe with their recent signings. Oxford could take big strides I reckon, then its Rotherham and, being an optimist, our very own Shrewsbury Town. They're the teams too watch.

No stand out team but plenty of teams who will be challenging in my opinion A very, very open league I agree Paul think it's easier to predict which clubs will struggle Barnet, Macclesfield, Hereford, Stockport than the ones who will fill the top 7 places. My current view is the Town will struggle to finish in the top half even with MH. That can all change of course if there are 3 good new signings.

We will finish top half for 2 reasons. Our back line will be one of the strongest in the league. Our midfield will be ok with Disley and VDB but maybe a winger with pace might make it look better. Our forward line is the problem with one more decent striker with pace and a eye for goal will see us top 7 for sure.
Btw why do you bother getting a season ticket if we are going to finish bottom half?
Arse.

I suspect that in the 56 years I've supported the Town they have finished in the bottom half more times than they have in the top. If I was a fan who only wanted to support a winning team I'd travel every other weekend to London or Manchester. Yes the defence looks strong especially with competition for Raven's place in the team, but unfortunately the defence doesn't win games and too many drawn games can leave you stranded in the lower reaches of the league. In my opinion Turner has not tackled the three outstanding problems from last season pace, creativity and a goalscorer. Until those areas are improved I'll stick to my bottom half prediction.
