Nothing like lining up your excuses before the game starts Mick

"If you don't beat us tonight, you never will" fair comment, after all its the last time we will ever play them before they fold

It's a great way to attract TUFC fans to the game tonight, not!
I guess Jones is hoping for complacency on our behalf.
To be honest I'm more concerned at the moment about whether the game will be on or not...

Come on...he's got a point hasn't he? I appreciate he's trying to play mind games but when its comes down to it he's spot on...the club is in turmoil, they're in a terrible run of form, they've been knocked out of the Trophy on pens after extra time (on what looks a heavy pitch) on the Saturday...
Never had a better chance to beat them...

Mick Jones knows full well that Telford's recent form will mean nothing in this game- how often does the unfancied team come good in a local derby- we are going to have to be near our best for sure

Of course we're going to have to be at our best, that goes without saying...
Strange though that I've never fancied our chances against Telford this season before today (expected each and every game to end in a draw) but I certainly expect us to win tonight...very, very confident we'll get the three points this evening...

Cant fail but to win tonight - they have so many problems on and off the pirch it would be a disaster to lose tonight and have the whole of the summer regrting never beating the scum in a commpetitive match

If we have Hulbert back in midfield he will make a massive difference. We were 2-0 up and coasting in the trophy game at half time when he came off injured and hasnt played since.
With Murphy back aswell we should have some fresh legs although not match fit to give you a good game.
Even so I think this is a game Shrewsbury will just edge.
PS I thought scum was normally a word associated with Shrewsbury Town ;D
