Well after Altringham we all had Tinno nailed on as Player of the season but after recent events has he lost it to another contender with less than 10 games to go
For me there are a few candidates this year!!!
1) Tinno - has been Strong upuntill the Daggers game and was the best player this season thus far untill recent wobbles, annoyed alot of people with his antics towards Howie and running of after the whistle on Saturday.
2)Astion - The form, class and hardworker of the team has gotta be close for it, after the way he has tomrmented opposition players this year, but his suspention/injury might have hammpered his chances, but will get a chance before the end of the season to show us all he deserved the award.
3) Occoner - mr consistant in the midfield and no doubt he is finally adapting to this leage now with some very good showings, but he is not universally liked by the fans and many see Tolley and Edwards as a better combination!!!!! A strong end to season and hes in with a shout.
Personally thats it for me
Outsiders are
Howie - not a bad season overall Cramb - Lots of goals but a bit frustrating most of the time to watch Luke – always a fans favourite but munch worse than last year Darby – the form player – but its come to late Ridds – solid but like mossy probably to anonymous in games to get the big award Tolley – was having his best season up till the injury, but being rused back and the drop in form has hampered his chances
No chancers – Lowe, Street, Edwards, Sedgmore, Banim,

And then you have put Cramb in Outsiders!! CRAMB should be in No CHANCERS! (Thats IMO ;D)

Tinson- very good chance, very consistent and a good leader. But gp- you have missed out Darran Moss- has improved a lot this season- very consistent. I can only criticise him for a number of silly bookings which leaves us without his skills at a critical point in the season.

Win it, maybe not but I would surprised if he's not in most people's top three. For the record, Tinson,Moss,Aiston for me- but it could change in the run-in

Sorry, Tinno for me every time. He has been a superb captain - kept his cool through many a difficult tackle, defence move and even scored a goal. He has shown he does have some passion - hence frustration with Howie - I suspect some of it aimed at himself and he always salutes the fans at the end - he did on Saturday but did have an injury and probably wanted it seen to. He was probably equally as annoyed as the rest of us with the result and for all we know annoyed with himself.
Mind you, we don't arf miss O'Connor when he's not there don't we?

For a player to be considered they need to have played for the season - not just the 2nd half etc.
For me
1) O'Connor
Honourable mentions to Moss, Tinson, Ridler, Howie and Aiston

Surely only one winner for your lots end of season gong... none other than 'Whinge Arse Himself' - James Quinn I still think you lot will win the play-off final. Mainly because I do believe that ourselves and Hereford have had to give it full welly for some time now - CCFC will win the league :-*and it'll be Hereford in the play-offs. I'm not sure that Hereford would have the stomach for another three games at the end of the 42 played

O'Connor should be in the running. but his sending off at Tamworth has tarnished it a bit. I still think it should be either Tinson or Moss.
Aiston would be up there if he hadn't got a 5 match suspension.

His 5 match ban has in no way hindered us. Because it has conicided with him being injured for 3/4 weeks.
