Ron Millar aka Lenny the Lion found a wallet belonging to John Jones yesterday down by the club. It has two tickets for tonight's game in it.
If anyone knows John please can they pass this message on.

Not sure Whits.
Important thing is the guy will get his wallet back.
On a side note Ronnie has got the msg onto b&a and had it read out on Radio Shrops. Bit unfair to criticise him.

it is, why not do the simple thing, find wallet at ground hand it in at reception?
that way person who lost wallet calls club to ask if it's handed in and we say yes.
maybe i'm looking at it in too simple terms.

Aye, could be.
Out of interest what did the club do about it?

perhaps he found it after office hours. the mans made sure mr jones gets his wallet back,a simple yes would have sufficed,no need to have a go at an honest chap doing his best to return it.

Just for the record, I spoke to Ron earlier. It wasn't him who found the wallet, but someone he knew and it was up by the main road not outside the office block. The person was in a hurry to get home as they were running late. They tried to ring a contact no. in the wallet when they got home, but there was no reply. They then rang the police to report they'd found it. They then rung Ron on the offchance that he may knew who it was as it had the match tickets in there. Ron then kindly rang Ant asking him to put a message on here and he also rang Radio Shrops to put a message out in the hope the guy would hear it. You may all pass on your apologies to the cr@p lion now!
